I like your combination of shots, and table talk. I am waiting on my pro shop's call for my Burner Pearl to be ready to throw. I watched several videos on this and some other "weaker" balls and the BP seemed to be the best. Your video reinforces my choice to get this ball. I have a Nova, Zen Master, Phaze 2, and Axiom Pearl, and wanted a weaker ball for transition in my center. Good job, Luis.

Welcome to the Burner Pearl family, Luis! I know I've mentioned it a couple of times in comments; I like it for later second and third games in house shot leagues. You were throwing it well, by the way!

I have a similar approach and release as you, and your videos have really helped my game. i went from a 194 average to 210 this season. Just need to work on being more consistent with my spare shooting and it would be even higher. so, thank you. keep doing what you do! also, you threw this ball really well as you adjusted.
I threw mine tonight with the original polish on it and was clean in the whole game. No missed spares or splits. I had gotten away from this ball but in the house I bowl in on Friday nights it has been working so good. Just a very good ball for me with slow speed to keep it straight in front of me and even when I got right a few times it was really good

I love my burner pearl. My house shot is really dry so by time game 3 starts I’m at this ball. Though sometimes I do have to keep my speed up because it can still take off on me like your first couple shots. But other then that I love it. It’s most definitely to me lives up to name burner, not great for fresh because on fresh if I miss right it doesn’t come back as hard as it will in later games.

I have been watching your videos for awhile now and I would like to see at least one where you play a full game even picking up spares. Plus if you are reviewing two or more allowing us to see the scores. Just a thought but you are song a great job
My only issue with that is that scores don’t mean good or bad ball especially shooting spares. If I match up better that day with one ball over the other and generates a higher score doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a better ball
@Luis sorry I meant the scores were not to see what each ball would bring but just following your improvement with changing your approach and release. But I can see were seeing the scores some may associate that with the ball. Just like I said I like the videos and keep up the excellent work 👌
Nice spare. Any time I leave the same split or something like it I throw it fast and straight. With either my faball blue pearl urethane hammer or my forest green quantum remake.
Mine has about 50 games on it including a 300 game first time I used it for a game. The ball is just super angular for me pin up, wish I would have drilled it pin down to tame out the backend reaction

I agree about the Hustles. I have the Wine and it doesn't corner well. Glad to hear it's not just me. Would pin down do any better? It plays well from straighter though. I also have the Hyped Hybrid and was wishing I got the Hyped Pearl instead. Now instead I wish I had Burner Pearl with the comparison to the Zen. My third game in league is suffering. :(
@@LuisNapoles I'm getting back into bowling after about a twenty year break. I bought a UFO Alert and that thing hooks A LOT. I'm looking for another ball or two to compliment my recent purchase. Any suggestions?
Okay, great talking point for a beginner video, why would you choose this Burner Pearl over the Camo Solid? I know I heard you say the Camo doesn’t let you get far left, but could you get into the reasons why?
Would say the burner series are similar to the roto grip wreckem and wrecker? I really like throwing my wreckem. Im looking for a ball that I can play my go to line of 23/22 feet, and hitting around the 15 to 18 arrow.
Now compare to your Hustle Camo and detail what the Hustle's weren't doing for you, to illustrate why the Burner was a better fit for you. Then compare it to the Hy-Road Pearl, and show the difference between what you defined as too strong of a weak/bottom ball in your bag.
Have the hyped pearl and it’s the weakest ball in my bag. I haven’t thrown the burner Pearl before but from what I can see the hyped pearl looks like it goes longer and sharper
Hey boss! I’m looking at this ball. I was looking for a low end pearl that I can break out during league when the lanes start to get burned up. Right now I currently have: Hammer Obsession Tour Hammer Purple Urethane Would this be a solid pick for my bag? Or do you have any other suggestions?
I use my burner pearl on the fresh or 2nd game all depends, for house shots this is all you need, no need to spend more cash on a zen for leagues that use house shots
Im sorry, but im a bit confused. What's the point having a weak bowling ball hooking like a Gem? Im using a Storm Tropical Surge, and it goes mostly straight, with a soft but very controllable continuous hook and back-end towards the pocket, and it hits like a train. I think that ball is even weaker than this Burner. The Surge goes for those extreme dry lanes or short patterns, but was not meant to hook like my other bowling balls; eg the Widow 2.0 Hybrid, even on those short patterns or burnt up lanes. By using my Surge, my game style changes as well, to a more straight angles, direct forward. So, to what Im confused about: Are you using a weaker ball on those short or burnt up patterns to do exactly what your more stronger balls does on faster or fresher conditions? Or do you change your style as well to a more straight, direct forward motion with the weaker ball? As usual, thanks for great videos!
That ball looks great! I think you were pretty consistent with your shots, and really did match up. It was controllable. I would like to see your pin placement please, even though everyone has different numbers. I tend to drill most balls pin up to the right. I would possibly think something like a Rico drill could be good for this one, so I could hit it harder on the burn without overreacting?I’m a fan of my Wolverine, even with the controversy surrounding it.
@@LuisNapoles I love it you have so much room moving left. It was great to watch how well you matched up. Now you know I have the OG pearl not the 4k is the same my go to dry ball. I can get left to around 24 with my feet at most. So glad you finally have thrown it. You might even like it maybe with a little polish, try it. I would like to try it in 4k to see the difference myself 👍
@@LuisNapoles You praised the Camo on the fresh. Changed the surface and you said it was up for your ball of the year. I’m just curious for why you don’t start with that on light oil patterns (mostly league). Like a 2000 surface Camo into a Burner Pearl
@@LuisNapolesThere were 13 bowlers, bowl 3 five game blocks, top 12 make the cut. Top 2 bowlers get a bye into the finals. 1 bowlers dropped out so everyone made the cut then the bottom 10 bowled 2 games top 3 move on.
This doesnt hook anything like a Gem LOL
Have you compared the burner pearl 1500 polished vs the 4K fast
I have not no
That ball looks great!
The layout on it is 30x4x30 and I think you may be right about that!
I told you when you did the solid video lol 😂
I wish I would listened then lol
@@LuisNapoles I love it you have so much room moving left. It was great to watch how well you matched up. Now you know I have the OG pearl not the 4k is the same my go to dry ball. I can get left to around 24 with my feet at most. So glad you finally have thrown it. You might even like it maybe with a little polish, try it. I would like to try it in 4k to see the difference myself 👍
Both
Thanks!
Is a burner pearl good for a beginner?
I think so yea
You could try to voice over ur videos. That you can show your shots and talk at the same time
I used to do that when I first started but that’s WAY to much work lol
Why don’t you use the Camo with surface for your weaker ball choice?
Because I need it to clear the fronts and shape and the camo won’t do that
@@LuisNapoles You praised the Camo on the fresh. Changed the surface and you said it was up for your ball of the year.
I’m just curious for why you don’t start with that on light oil patterns (mostly league).
Like a 2000 surface Camo into a Burner Pearl
Certified banger
Thanks!!!
@@LuisNapoles Is 4×30 your new default symmetric layout?
@@Zudoarichidoari I think so yea! Been really living it
Burner or altered Reality?
Two COMPLETELY different balls that will be used in different times
Naw keep everything the same, perfect how it is💯
Thanks man!
tropical surge literally a low end pearl ball.
Ehh I don’t think I’ll get that low
@@LuisNapoles You'll never know until you try
Today I won my first tournament. After the first 15 games of qualifying i was 2nd to last😆. I was using my favorite ball, the Phaze 2.
How many games?!?!
Out of nowhere I bowled my best game all tournament a 257 then a 199. Then the top five bowl a 1 game seeding match top 2 go to championship and somehow I bowled another 257. Then in the final I made a washout to win 186-177. But the kid who finished second is really good in the last 3 games of qualifying he bowled a 789(267,267,255).
Where’s the hair?
Flushed down the toilet 😂😂😂
@@LuisNapoles #bring back mountain man Lou
On bad shots watch the toes.
What about them?
@@LuisNapoles up to the point I wrote that if you was off your toes would point more to the right. But the more you moved left the more your toe pointed right but then it seemed to help your angle. Might be something to keep an eye on. Consistency is so key in bowling. Great video.
The format has always been good. Just grow your hair back!
Hair prob will stay short! It’s to hot in Vegas!
Keep the talk. I can’t tell anything without explanation
Thanks!
Yep, I like this better...bowl more, talk less. Get straight to the point and we all enjoy the ball reaction together. Now I don't have to skip anymore (did I say that out loud?)
I mean there’s plenty of other channels that “shit up and bowl” the difference here is that I show all the shots and talk about what’s going on
@@LuisNapoles I know and that's why I'm subscribed to you. You're doing a great job with the channel and I love how you're always interacting with the subscribers asking questions on if they like it and how to improve and take criticism. That shows growth as a person and as a man. Keep it up
Looks too strong for very dry conditions
its really not though
Bowl more talk less 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Trust when I say this that there’s PLENTY of other channels who bowl more and talk less. This ain’t one of those channels
It's really interesting to see how far left you are on the fresh earl. Looks like it has a fairly aggressive backend reaction. May be a stupid question, but how does this ball compare to let's say the Gem? Thanks for doing these demo vids. Good stuff! 🎳
No such thing as a stupid questions. So the gem would be more ball overall. Would be substantially early smoother and handle significantly more volume than the burner pearl
@@LuisNapoles Thank you sir! My first year back bowling in 10 years.
