This is why the game fails. It started out strong by keeping the main characters of the books/series out of the telltale story-line but should have had more emphasis on the minor houses with only a brief appearance of some of the tv/book characters. Instead of those major characters coming in as a pandering wrecking ball for the story.
This along with the forced "no matter what you do this is how it ends" narrative is waht killed it for me, GoT was terrible, compared to Tales from the Borderlands which was nothing short of fantastic. The two did a similar way of telling a story, but Tales actually made choices mattter to the very end, which they did, as it helped define the team you pick at the end. GoT did not matter for shit, in the end, your choices are as inevitable as the outcome.
