In matching headings I do like that: first, I read headings and underline only and only keywords. Then I start to read the passage, when I finish to read the first paragraph, I look at my underlined keywords and try to find the correct answer. Process goes like this. And what do you think, is it a good method or not, Mr Tutor? Thank you for answer😊
Hi there, this article 'IELTS Advantage- IELTS Reading Matching Headings' will help answer your question. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us.
True, false, not given are questions I rlly struggle with. In my previous sample I had text with sentence “The children of the newly-literate mothers were also better nourished than those of women who could not read”. The question was “After the National Literacy Crusade, the children of the women who remained illiterate were found to be severely malnourished”. I put true, but the answer was not given. If someone there could explain why not given? As the sentence is the direct paraphrase of the statement? Like we also have “than” (better nourished than those of women who could not read). Why is that?

But few days later i made 6 mistakes because of lack of reading, yeah?! Or is there could be other reasons why this happened?? But the most surprising was i got all ‘heading’questions right , But i did 5/7 incorrect just now !! :(

Hi Cris, first of all thanks for this useful video. please give a little information about MCQ in reading,I'm having trouble in this question type

I have no problem
Hi,Chris! I have experienced one unusual reading test. That is i got correct 38 that means 8,5 because it read one book with great curiosity inonly a day. But few days later i made 6 mistakes because of lack of reading, yeah?! Or is there could be other reasons why this happened??
But the most surprising was i got all ‘heading’questions right ,
But i did 5/7 incorrect just now !! :(
Hello Chris!
I’m getting frustrated because of reading module😢
