We love him because he laughs on his own thoughts, even before he speaks 😂
''He had a Laugh and then he died'' LOL!!
Best two epitaphs I've heard:-
"I'm not dead yet"
And
"I told you I was ill"..
He should have 'the man who put a smile on the face of all that he met'
Well, there is much worse...
"I love these mushrooms"
I've always found it romantic how ricky and Jane lived... like it didn't matter if they were poor, because they were happy.
yes
True love
He's the most honest, confident and authentic person I know!
Love a bit of dangerous honesty - good man
I can't decide if Karl Pilkingtons eulogy at Rickys funeral would be the saddest or funniest thing ever, possibly both
_"He's now foodage for worms"_
+Paul Thoresen it would defnitly be the funniest
Your comment was funnier than this whole video
Paul Thoresen 'E were alright.
Imagine the size of Steve merchant's casket.... 40 people carrying it.
2:07 now I know why they have been together for over 30 years
I’m jealous of how comfortable they are with each other
I'll have really tiny writing on my gravestone. So you have to walk up close to read it: "You're standing on my balls."
You don't have balls
Dick Phuck jeebus christ...i can't believe i need to explain this, but that isn't actually me and while we're on the subject i wouldn't put a lot of credence into *anyone's* avatar being representative of anything but taste in pictures
OrphanSeasun Still doesn't give you balls
OrphanSeasun No balls = no guy
OrphanSeasun Only girls use girls as their profile picture.
Gravestone: "Here lies an Atheist: All dressed up and nowhere to go"
Great. At least he won't be disappointed.
i thought that saying was for the opposite...
Lucas Wheeler I really think yours is way better!
But god is made up ...u fucking moron
@@authentik__logiic1920 So are life purpose, respect, love, tolerance...
Ricky Gervais:
Jimmy Fallon: HAHAHA HAHAHAHAHHAA
"What was the dumbest thing you have ever done while you were drunk?" I was waiting for him to say, "Hosting the Golden Globes." But his answer was far more epic! *R Kelly Likes This*
Hosting the Golden Globes was great ... He made a totally boring show into something I actually wanted to watch.
I was waiting for that too but it wasn't dumb, it was genius so doesn't count :)
"he had a laugh and he died" -Ricky Gervais
Jimmy's laughter when listening to the "weeing in the sink" story is priceless!!!
Ricky Gervais makes me laugh in ways I’ve never heard me laugh 😂😂😂
Jane and Ricky are the underrated love story this world needs! She sounds like a really good person.
I love his laughter and honesty
I can watch to these 2 go back and forth all day long.
I simply bow to the ingenuity and humour of Ricky....
These two act like a couple of school kids & it is AWESOME to watch!!
Ricky's such a legend
Ricky's girlfriend is lucky he didn't have to take a crap.
RICKY GERVAIS is so Hilarous, the most brilliant comic out there. All brutal honesty and readiness with a hysterical pinch all in one.
🤣Ricky is my hero...omg. This guy must laugh a lot what a smile on him....
He's my favorite comedian! Great interview!
"He had a laugh, and then he died."
Perfect.
Of Ricky gets really old, he could have "Only the good die young" in his grave stone 😂
Gravestone: "THE MAN WHO PUT A SMILE ON THE FACE OF ALL THAT HE MET"
One of the funniest men alive, not an exaggeration.
The baby moping the floor is from raising hope omg, Jimmy came up with it
always funny with Ricky Gervais
Listening to Ricky talk you actually realise how much stuff he gets off Karl Pilkington. The baby with mops on it's hands and feet was something Karl came up with back in the XFM days!
+lee denbigh That was cats with mops on their feet.
+lee denbigh No, it's a real thing and I'm pretty sure it's older than Karl's idea.
+lee denbigh - Real invention - www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2226731/Now-baby-help-housework-hilarious-floor-mop-babygro-goes-sale.html
he doesn't say that he thought OF the invention himself, but just that it is a good invention. It's not stealing anything to mention something you saw and that you like it or think it's a good idea. Regardless of whether Karl saw it first, or mentioned it first Ricky is merely saying it is a good invention.
I think Karl found those mitts while he was in Japan. It's on An Idiot Abroad.
I love Jimmy's reaction when Ricky just goes 'I wee'd on my girlfriend' hahahaha
Ricky Gervais is by far the best guest on the show! ;)
Bot guys match perfectly together, good chemistry
British comic Spike Milligan's gravestone can't be beaten. "I told you I was ill."
On my gravestone will read:
"That could have gone smoother"
Mine will read " HELP they've buried me alive"
Ricky has the best laugh!!
hahahah ewww "at least take the dishes out first"
I love these too. Ricky Gervais is my favourite english comedian and Jimmy Fallon is my favourite talk show host. Great together.
And they both laugh compulsively ...
Yeah, I have heard his stories over and over but I think that's more because I've just listened to every possible video, podcast etc around multiple times...I might be an addict
He has the cutest laugh!
"At least take the dishes out first"
LOL I had basically the same thought when he was telling his story... I was like, I hope he pees into an empty sink and not ontop of all his plates and dishes and stuff... that's not worth being lazy for, lol.
Why is the story still as funny as the first time? Oh gosh. Such an English gem!
as i grow older the more and more i wanna be like Ricki Gervais.
Ricky, I just finished the series "Derek", and it was just lovely! I watched from 2 different sides. I'm old, 60, and I worry about ending up in an old folks' home, which is very scary & I imagine, really dreadful, but if I do I hope there are sweet & wonderful & a bit crazy-type people in it, like Hannah, Derek & Carl & the other folks. Then perhaps it wouldn't be so awful. I also saw it from Hannah's view, because I did what she does most of my working life, in 1 form or another. I always worked with the sick & aged, or both, & it's a terrible & wonderous experience all at once. Anyway, I love you & I love Derek & I hope you're all coming back for a 2nd season (at LEAST!) Fantastic show! (Also love An Idiot Abroad)! Laughed so hard I wee'd myself!! PLEASE make more Derek! XXXX
They're making season 2 at the present moment
If you "wee'd" yourself laughing I'd say it was probably about time they chucked you in an old folks home :> Jokes
the fact that u watched Derek and u are commenting here means you r not old
I've only seen a few clips but it's not that far off some care work lol
kansas66701 come on, slow down there, 60 is not old, that's the golden age. there is a german song that translates to "with 66 years, life just starts" ;-) there are a couple of years/decades left until the old folks home awaits. a little bit off-topic, but maybe interesting for you: my grandad is in his 90s and we got him an affordable maid who watches him and does the housekeeping - i don't know how that's possible in the usa, but there are always options ;)
I am so proud to be a Twonk :D And
Jimmy's laugh has always been variations of dorky lol ♥
laughing is an expression of joy or happyness. Sometimes its out of courtesy and sometimes we can't help it. He/they are just fucking happy to be alive and are embracing their fortune (not that they don't deserve it)
I absolutely 100% agree with you on this.
Ricky took that "mop for babies" idea and delivery from Karl Pilkington on Idiot Abroad Season 2.
I guess he was under pressure to come up with something funny... well he stole something funny. Xd
He did send Karl over there, so I don't really feel he stole anything.
he never claimed it as his idea so he didnt steal anything, what you're saying is if he said the best invention was the lightbulb then he'd of stole that idea too?
You must sleep well at night knowing you're doing God's work.
1
At 1:08 Ricky was probably thinking of saying the Golden Globes lol
Ricky, always funny and brilliant
Everything in the Skymall!! That magazine though... best ever. Who doesn't want lashes for their car lights?!
i can't believe Rick's 'best invention ever' is a baby mop....he shat all over karl being excited about cat mops.
these are such lads i can only imagine them seeing each other for a beer with a bunch of mates down the local, it's amazing :D how are they on camera hahahaha
That made me laugh so hard!
Jane is a legend😂
Everyone complaining about Fallons laughs really need to watch his SNL material, his old films, and really observe his personality. That's how he is, extremely empathetic and perceptive, and is naturally very reactive. (meaning he laughs freely and with ease) I like him for this quality as do many others, and every time I read a comment about how fake his laughs are, I get reminded about how fake most of the people on this planet are.
I love this comment, I agree 💯
*so yeeeaah, I'm just sitting in this seat here, doing nothing... OBVIOUSLY...*
Wow, comedic genius
I've done that a couple of times, if you're in a strange house and you get drunk, it's really easy to pee in the wrong place!!
Ricky you twonk! Ily
LOL I love how you name the city for Gervais & the county for Russel :D
The mops! Lol what a great idea
Classic!!! Hilarious!
I woke my husband up because I was laughing so hard! Thanks guys!!!!! :-D
Hoverboard is finally here. Who would had have thought it would be a military device, first?
He has a very young mind for the age he is .
“What is the dumbest thing you’ve done while drunk?”
“This show”
Rickey has told that peeing in the sink joke about 100 times on talk shows.
So
I like how he said the best invention was something karl bought while in Japan and I'm pretty sure karl told ricky about it over the phone and Ricky told him he was an idiot lol
I just said this! It's quite annoying isn't it.
Kristen Collier Wasn't it foot mops for cats?
Kristen Collier Ricky often acts like that towards Karl to get the best out of him, XFM proves that this strategy works.
his laugh!
haha ricky gervais is hilarious
Who was that saying "RICKY RICKY RICKY THINK OF ANOTHER STORY" sounded like he was on the intercom
I think that was Jimmy
LMAO hes hilarious!
thanks for that question SavannahScrugg, you nailed it! lol
Lol I love how strong Pilkington fans are when we can watch Ricky talking and point out word-for-word which things he stole from Karl.
His teeth 😍
I love how Ricky shamelessly takes whole sentences from Karl Pilkington and his crazy ideas.
+BulletTruth1989 Now, you're stating the obvious. Ofc, Karl was there to be asked questions and see what he'd reply as he's an innate hillarious free thinker he is, we all agree he is as mad as box of frogs. And that's what makes Karl so unique and what made Ricky want to put him on tv, radio, etc. And Ricky recycles, as all comedians do, ideas from someone else. I'd just like Ricky to give some credit on this show for that particular idea, plus when Karl says that, he really means it and that's what truly makes it comedy gold. I've noticed he has taken a bunch of ideas from Karl in several of his shows. I love Ricky and Karl, don't get me wrong. I especially love when they're doing stuff together.
You gain lots of things from people you care about and admire. Quotes, jokes, mannerisms. There is no shame in that. Lots of artists and musicians have obvious influences and even cover songs of their idols.
Gary Shaw I totally agree, I'd personally like him to acknowledge Karl is his source of inspiration for part of his jokes. Ofc, he made him famous, so I guess that's his way of acknowledging the natural comedy in Karl.
Yeah initially agree with you. Think they just bounce ideas and jokes off if Wach other. Mates getting famous and rich off of friendly banter etc.
Gary Shaw if only they did a podcast or something together again. I miss their dynamic as the crazy trio they were.
I first heard the term 'twonk' in an early-90s episode of Red Dwarf, namely 'Back To Reality'.
I can't stop laughing!!
Legend
LOOK AT IT!
Lmao watching this in 2016 everyone has hoverboards now
"We came up with three questions, that they wanted me to ask you." Not scripted at all
Omg he's so funny
Ricky Gervais sounds so much like the guy who does alistars voice in dragon age lol
On the gravestone: He was just here a minute ago...
This girl really loves you, your a lucky man!
Lol, I thought the gravestone was going to say, " _Shouldn't have weed on his girlfriend_ ".
He calls he's facebook followers "Facebonkers" .. so everybody gets it.. but we all love Ricky anyway! :D
He had a laugh and then he died. haha
lol good.
loving that body transformation...
All of these jokes are on his standup dvds, love how he recycles them for easy laughs
Love that he says wee'd
i would write 'his life was a joke'
jimmy fallon has the best laugh
He really does, I love his laugh
omg poor jane lol
Ricky's abit like David Brent in this haha! not in a bad way
oh ricky... jeez man haha
