- "We love rock and roll.
We absolutely adore it.
I think it's one of the greatest things to have happened to mankind.
But it doesn't mean that it doesn't suck,
gets off in the wrong direction and has become a flatulent bloated industry that deserves to be stomped on and obliterated so it can rise again."

Who put a dislike on this video? This is the best performance of this song ever! The end is really brutal.
I think it was because Billy was flat on nearly every note, and Jimmy would constantly change tempo by a couple bpm every line because he was so addled at this point. I think this is one of the worst full band performances of the song even though the guitar and bass is the closest live performance to the album version.
Billy is always pitchy and obviously Jimmy does not speed up “every line” or they’d have been at 300 bpm by the end. Can’t you feel the incredible power of this rendition? They destroyed the audience, who we’re going crazy for it. You are full of sh!t, poseur.
Melissa is awesome in the rendition of this song !
She’s awesome!
What year is this?
@Barrie Jackson It’s around 1999-2000.

Brilliant song from a brilliant and massively overlooked album.

I saw this tour, the week before this. It was epic.
jesus, what a performance
I don't just like this. I wanna frame it in gold.
진짜 이때가 공연으로는 최고였는데
관중도 정말 마니오고..진정 헤비메탈머신
I'm in love with Melissa!!😍😍
one of the best Pumpkins songs and performances
Thank You
That misstep at 3:46 sounded pretty cool actually
I've always thought that too
Awesome Song!!!🤟🍻🤟🍻🤟
아, 이때 갔었어야 했는데.
Dang! 🤘
Wow! When did the Pumpkins play in Seoul? I left Korea two years ago. How was the show?
It looks like 2000 era Pumpkins. I arrived in Daegu in 2001. I just missed them1
@@murray1978 this was their best gig in Seoul
@@verbalspray3003 I would have loved to have seen this. This was probably in 2000 because they broke up at the end of the year. Machina is a great album.
Lémbrame ao de Santiago de Compostela
What year is this?
The year of our Lord 2000 bro
I like how D"arcy playing bass...so so impresiv
Melissa Auf Der Maur is the bassist here actually. D'arcy left in 1999
@@discardmyfriends I want D'arcy back ! 🎸
@@tutsybassista 100%. No shade to all the D'arcy fans, but Auf der Maur brings so much more power.
Every performance of HMM live is NUTS. Makes me more upset that I never saw them live.
@@tutsybassista I get why people love Darcy but tbh she never was a very good bassist. She was usually the only one to mess up songs live during the early pumpkins days, and it was usually when her bass line was super important and basically ruined the whole song. (See their first snl performance) Melissa is an actually talented musician. Playing acceptably when you have unlimited takes and no pressure in the studio doesn't count.
@@heyskipj this comment is 2 years old but Auf Der Maur is amazing. If you haven't seen the documentary Hit So Hard you should check it out, it's about the drummer of Hole but Melissa is featured heavily and she's awesome!
possibly the worst live band I have ever seen. studio gangsters
You're so backwards
millenials...
Pumpkins do a killer performance. Go to a real rock concert.
Probably a fan of coldplay
