Just bought a new Ultrex with ipilot link and my remote will not connect and says Software CUR: invalid. Do not know how to resolve this. Have you seen this and can you tell me how to resolve this.
This is just me but I would either have the motor running if you're in the water or connect the on board charger. Plus make sure the phone is plugged into power as well. That way there's battery if the AC goes out and AC if the any of the boat batteries or phone batteries goes out. If I hose my $50 home router when I flash it that's one thing but I definitely don't want to hose this system if power fails.
I would be worried on older smart phones if a call comes in. But most phones now can handle talking and Internet, so I don't think that should be an issue for the vast majority. But there could be a situation where that can still happen.
