- The Tracking The Tropics team is monitoring a disturbance just off the Southeast Coast that could bring gusty winds and heavy rain to much of the region. Plus, WFLA Chief Meteorologist Jeff Berardelli explains why major hurricanes typically miss the Tampa Bay area and why the region may be due for one soon.

How much of this can be accounted to Solar activity?

The Central American gyre will kick in the end of September into October and send something towards Florida.
I don’t get the part that the climate has changed so much and it’s changing so much more but the models say we are going to keep getting exactly what we’ve always got. If the climate is making the sky fall I’d kinda like to see the sky fall.

Having lived in Pinellas for my first 30 years of life has left me a little arrogant about dealing with Hurricanes. I need to break that mindset.

I have the worse luck? missed every hurrucane tornado and the most expected place just because i was their wating it veered off . hurricane party's know i have bad luck also?I went and Nobody was there.🤔😬😁.@@bitetheasp

You do realize you can only hide what's happening for so long right? People are going to start "seeing" what's causing all this chaotic weather, volcanic, and seismic activity.
