Strictly D-Day on the Swanage Railway

To commemorate D-Day and as a prelude to their Strictly Bulleid event, Swanage Railway ran a comprehensive service on Thursday 6 June 2024. The first two departures from Swanage, 34070 Manston at 10.00, Adams T3 No. 563 at 10.25 get things off to a good start, while 34072, 257 Squadron, prepares to take the next train.

Glad to hear you're all well - yes, Swanage was very slippy and very steamy (especially when peering over the bridge at Swanage) - I did get up to Corfe Castle etc and that may feature if I get my act together! Best wishes, Will
