Kyle, thanks for the recap. You should be proud. You put in a great effort and have deer for the freezer. No joke. Getting away from pressure is the hardest part. You gotta find those sanctuaries where other guys are too lazy to go. Means a lot.of work on foot. Good luck during shed season and happy scouting.

Anytime you’re able to harvest a deer I think you had a pretty good deer season regardless of the slow start and missed opportunities. Now it’s time to use that boat and do some Muskie hunting.

You had a great adventure brother and pulled off a very challenging hunt. I used to guide some public land Ohio hunts like Egypt Valley wildlife area and it can be very tough.
