You probably want to cover the bolt openings as they will fill up with water during rains and corrode the steel from inside.
    Good project 😊

Great concept and execution. Another alternative is to drive a bunch of 8ft postmaster steel posts into the ground and weld/bolt onto that. Wrap them in wood, stone or any other finish of your choice. 🍷😁👌🏽

I really like the way it turned out. When you started building with the 1 1/2" square tube, I thought it might be a little springy but I guess the big angle took care of that. The finished project looks kid proof.
One question: What did you mean by slippage at 6:26? I'm not construction expert but I would think that the rebar would tie the two together and prevent any movement.

Good idea but for me result is not great. You should try to hide metal parts inside and cover them with wood. Metal is cold and it will be much better to touch only wooden parts.

What's the purpose and it's worth? Perhaps the purpose is to have an aesthetically pleasing addition to his yard. Some people do that and are a little less concerned about the cost. Or, maybe it's just to make something that he can post as a new video. The video revenue will make up for the cost. Or, maybe, just maybe, it's a little of both.
