57:25 Rory Sutherland channeling Super Hans: ‘You should just get a van. With a van it’s like you’ve got an MBA… but you’ve also got a fuckin’ van.’

I would like to see some research comparing the views and values of rural vs urban dwellers across various countries and communities. I seem to notice as much difference in views between urban and rural dwellers than between age groups.

Rory's point at 30 minutes about speaking English and what that means for immigration is so on the money. But you never hear anybody say it

Dear Rory, I love you and love your content but I just finished listening to your talk with Shane parish and whilst I still enjoyed it, hearing you talk over Shane is so aggravating and displays a level of arrogance I'd never expect from such a behavioural genius

This is hilarious. Rory reeks of class privilege, and they are discussing how class privilege and how it is irrelevant.

Phenotype and genotype. Breeding is more predictable and reliable than genius.
IQ is a predictor of ability to solve problems quickly, whether you like it or not.
Families guard their gene pool as an exercise in quality assurance.
High stakes occupations that require conformity and conscientious people (conservative and socially responsible roles) tend to attract conservative and socially responsible people.
    This, is the 'class' system.
If your phenotype is physically genetically sound, and mentally quick, but your accent betrays your family background, no matter how much money you make, you will be ostracised by higher classes.
Like a very good looking, very obedient dog, your attractive features cannot be relied upon, not good breeding.
It's very much like dog breeding. People pay more for pedigrees, so to in society.
