My first build goal was Azur, then everything moving quickly stopped it. I'm soft capped in every category. My wife said to come upstairs so I set up tera magica, Azur, and with no buffs at all,with other talismans, physic of course, I still melted him in +5 or +6. I lost track. Hilarious.
To me the effort involved in this setup seems like so much more work than tossing bloodflame blade on a set of claws and having the crystal tear that nullifies Nihil!

Only thing I ever found 'dumb' is how little buffing sorceries need to be incredibly damaging. You see melee builds going out of their way to like, inflict debuffs, damage themselves, drink phsyick, use like 2 different ashes, and wear particular armor to do like, GOOD, GOOD damage. But sorcery is like, nah, drink the infinite FP tear and cast terra magica xD
Yeah but this spell requires you and the enemy to stay in 1 position/place only thus is useless against bosses like malekith or malenia who like to move around a lot.
Remember if you're using this method to access the DLC, Mohg's Shackle also helps keep him restrained in one place while he's getting blasted in the face, and sometimes two comets (one before Nihil damage threshold, and one to finish before he can do it) can work just as well if you don't have the same stat spread as in the video.
@taheraltaher3600 I can oneshot him even in coop when he gets x2 hp. 139 lvl (way less if vigor isn't needed) jellyfish shield, lusat's staff; 70 intelligence 40 mind 33 faith. Talismans: graven-school & mass talismans, magic scorpion charm, radagon's foreseal to hold jellyfish shield (you can switch it to the ritual swrod talisman after activating) buffs: golden vow, howl of shabriri, jellyfish shield's ash of war, terra magica and flask.
I still do this to farm runes online, at later ng+ some people seem to just want the runes, not worry too much about the boss fight (as I make it obvious what build set up I have for this one battle), but I buff it with the helmet and howl, as well as commanders standard and terra

Godfrey icon doesnt do anything for comet azur tho since its not a 'chargable' spell. Its better to equip for example the Ritual sword Talisman to make it stronger.@@Jonkenstonk
Another good option for talismans would be magic scorpion charm from Selivus’ quest. If radagon’s icon isn’t necessary, that may let you stack even more damage

the reason this happens so easily is because mohg wants to do whatever it takes to get into his second phase where he gets health back and becomes stronger and tankier, so hes trying to curse you and initiate NIHIL but you killed him too fast

@@choom_rl I ended up beating him by just memorizing everything, I noticed I didn’t have any good talismans so I fixed that but eventually I decided to stop using that build to give myself more of a challenge, now I use faith build
It only really works against bosses that either stand there or walk in a straight line towards you, like Mohg or Niall, but I'm sure there will be instances in which it's useful in the DLC

The spell is called Terra Magica and its located in the rooftops of Raya Lucaria that you can only get to after going through the cave on the southeast side of the academy. It boosts your magic damage when you stand in it. The infinite magic was because of the cerulean hidden tear in the flask of wondrous physick
So Comet Azure, terra magical and cerulean hidden tear in flask of wounderous physic, I'm gonna remember that cause when me and my friends tackle mohg I want to do this while screaming Kamehameha in the group chat

I dont remember exactly but good stats to have would be at least 60 int and probably around the same level for mind as well. Good talismans to use would be graven mass, magic scorpion, and ritual sword. For staff, you definitely want one that's fully upgraded or at least +24/+9. Id recommend either lusats staff, renallas staff or prince of death staff. Also, equip azurs glintstone crown to boost comet azurs damage and for the physick flask use the magic cracked tear and cerulean hidden tear. Though in the recent update they did decrease the duration of the hidden tear so this strategy may not work as well.
So, all spells consume FP, including conet azur, but there is a crystal tear that you can get for the flask of wondrous physick called the cerulean hidden tear that when you drink eliminates all FP consumption for 15 seconds. You can get it by killing the ulcerated tree spirit by the dead minor erdtree on mt gelmir
I chain kill Mohg all day for others in the spirit of jolly co-op. If you summon a Mage on this boss, PLEASE get his attention early. Mage can't Comet if s/he's getting hit.

I dislike that nearly all the bosses in the DLC are so hypermobile now purely to fuck with comet azur cheese but it also fucks with a lot of builds that don't deal high damage per hit but instead rely on many faster hits.

An optimal build with maximum stats, with all maximum softcaps achieved, is vigor, mind endurance 60 and the rest 80. minmax would be all 99, but thats much harder to reach

As of patch 1.12 they nerfed terra magica and cerulean hidden hear just enough that ur unable to do this any more.

I think it didn't hit me cause i killed him right as he started the attack. Though there is a tear for the physick that protects you from that attack

I respeced at renalla so my vigor and mind were both at 99, and my intelligence was somewhere around 60 or 70 i think
