You could do with moving the boom of your mike, then we can see exactly where your fingers are. You could also forget your arty background and have the camera more focussed on you and your instrument.
In my latest video (part 3), I zoom in on what the hands are doing. Could you let me know if this is helpful? If not, I will think of other techniques in the videos to come
awesome, very useful beginner pattern, thanks for this! one thing I'd mention for improvement is placing your mic perhaps on the other side, so it doesn't block the camera's view of the instrument while you're playing.
Thank you, Yentl. I enjoyed the lesson.

So pleased to find a banjolele tutorial but can't see your fingers because of microphone and no close ups
My banjolele is strung differently than yours. What are the string you use?
GCEA is the tuning, starting from the upper string. Hope this helps
Am I missing something? What are the chords?
Hi! You'll find the chords at: 03:17
Unfortunate but most of your picking was covered by the microphone.
Sorry for that and will definitely keep that in mind with future videos
Far too fast, give learners a chance!!!!!!!
Sorry, I don't agree, I the she goes at a nice even pace for beginners.
