I think ans for No.9 would also be ans no 3.
Here is my explanation:
1.Invert the larger figure (i.e. pentagon) --this is seen in ans 1,3 and 5
2.The smaller figure half part should bw white that is facing the pointed end of the pantagon -- this is seen in ans 3 and 5
3. The smaller figure should sit at the base leaving the pointed part free.
