It's a shame that 343 is almost emulating CoD & similar with the heavy emphasis on Multiplayer... The campaigns are the backbone that built Halo as a respected title. Ignoring them or demoting them to token gestures will break the series and lose them all the respect their fans had and have for them.
Personally I liked have squadmates who could actually die favorite was halo reach were you actually had random marines join your squad I always try to save as many as I can one of my favorite accomplishments is getting a marine from the start of truth and reconciliation to the ship on legendary also in later games I liked giving them all my heavy weapons made it easier to get them through alive.

No Brian. A spartan is far superior. As much as we all hate to admit it,its true. The ODSTs are the underdogs fighting to stay on the map with the SPARTAN program taking all the glory. And ODSTs stay on the map quite well. They're meant to be badass underdogs

I'm pretty sure that Halsey outranks Kelly since they are both part of the Navy (Spartans are in fact Navy Officers, not proper Marines/army)

i found the legendary solo campaign to be the easyiest out of all the halo games but i guess thats because you don't have shields so you tend to take cover a lot more often
