Nicely decorated and expensive. Excellent walkthrough.

That lobby reminds me of the Coronado Springs Tower

I’m just curious, with all that conservation and sustainability, are they planning to pass the savings to the customer? I’m all for conservation but if you’re bragging about it, then is that the only reason you did it. Just do it because it’s the right thing to do and not make it the center piece of promotion. It’s like hard shell Baptist going on about his or her piety or a celebrity talking about their charity work. It’s a real turn off. The lobby is grand but as the others have pointed out, that style seems to be common place to the point of being trite. I think I would have preferred that they had kept the beautiful paths among all those tropical plants… I mean that would have been more environmental if that was your goal.

I’m really quite shocked and the lack of teaming in on inspiring decor it really truly is what I would typically see in a hotel down the road there’s just no imagination left with Disney they fired all their good people and now they have these kids out of school running it it’s just a disaster

Cheaper to stay at a Marriott. Where is the Hawaiian theming in the rooms and lobby. Save your points for Aulani.

Which Marriott can I view the Magic Kingdom Castle and watch fireworks on my balcony every night? Which Marriott is connected to a monorail to get me to Magic Kingdom or EPCOT?

Disney is using conservation and sustainability as an excuse for lackluster theming and style.
I absolutely loathe that every new Disney hotel looks like a Las Vegas resort hotel. No creativity, no unique design, no originality. Disney borrowed the architecture from the Coronado Grand Destino Tower, substituted South Seas decor, and renamed it the Polynesian Island Tower.
    Yawn.
Is this what the new generation, those visiting Walt Disney World with their families & kids, wants? Minimalist design and cookie cutter buildings?

Certainly an upgraded experience over the GF. Particularly in one of those penthouse suites!

That’s it? That splash pad is pathetic. Thought it was going to be this exciting cool thing for the kids , it’s just a statue. . Oh man. Pool is so boring. Idk . Disappointed to say the least. No theming whatsoever. Take some tips ftom the 90’s man. Add some theming!!!!!! 😢
