To my knowledge tobago had a lot of corruption in the 1880s the queen decided to give the governor of Trinidad to handle there affairs in 1889 on 1956 the first election in Trinidad did not involved tobago however in 1962 when our opposition and prime minister went to the queen for independence the queen force Trinidad to absorb tobago and demanded they get a voice on parliament and that's how it happen if anyone think i have wrong tell me what you know
