Onimusha 2 Gift Location Guide

After finishing my Night of Genesis video, I wanted to settle for something smaler in scale to give myself a bit of a rest since I'm unfortunately starting to go through a bit of writer's block concerning my next What-If project. Donn't worry, it isn't getting scrapped. I'm just having trouble coming up with and stitching together the details.
One thing that came to mind is the gift system in Onimusha 2, and that there's still a bit of confusion surrounding both the intricacies of the mechanic and the acquisition of many gifts themselves, so I decided to make a full and concise guide for obtaining all 125 gifts in the game.

How do I get the beetle?

As shown in the video at around 3:24, go to the path outside of Imasho and stand next to the tree shown for about 10-15 seconds until you see the Beetle crawling up it. Once it climbs into frame, you sbould be able to press X and pick it up, thougj it can be a bit finicky for it to register, so just kinda spam X until it works

I have the book for this, but some gifts don't give the actual gift rate like a,b,c. Also fuck the beetle

I'm not sure how this can't be true given that I specifically showed gameplay of obtaining every single gift in the game while also noting down exactly how to do so while I was recording my footage. Bare in mind that old strategy guides aren't always 100% correct as they are often not made by the game devs, but by somebody else entirely
