The Katana sounds really compressed and harsh. Maybe it’s just me. It doesn’t have the dynamics and bell-like tonal quality of a really good tube amp. Katana overdrive sounds like the tone you might get from plugging the guitar into a really cheap stereo system and turning it up too loud.
6500 dollar guitar into a sub $300 amp.... Ironically this or the waza headphones is what I'll be playing mine through mostly since I don't really cranky my tube amps anymore so I don't piss my roomies off.

That's the way to play. I could never hang on to a pick. It always felt so unnatural.
