I don't know why after so many similar cases, but it still blows my mind that these men can operate so normally with absolutely no regard for Suzanne and his children. They really think if they stick to their story it will all come right, it's mind-boggling. He really thinks he'd out smart detectives etc. I can't wrap my mind around his thought process. Also they looked like the "perfect couple" all the trappings of wealth but we really never know what goes on behind closed doors. To think it's the people closest to us that can do this is so jarring RIP Suzanne, I hope justice is quick and deserving. Thanks Dr grande for another excellent video.

But the husband looks stiff ,fake smile, and forced or the same look in every single photo! She is natural and relaxed and he.... Most people dont see these people for what they are, true narcissists. And the lucky ones get out and leave .But, the one's that dont ,unfortunately some end up dead. It's very rare when a member of a couple kills the other member and there isn't previous abuse, reported or not. Although it's possible in case of psychopathic individuals who have high impuls control or are cold-hearted and cool-headed. They usually think the murder will save them from other troubles. I find it, not only disgusting, but also extremely dumb. No trouble is solved by murdering a person, specially nowadays and in a first world country. It's only made worse!

There’s tons of details Dr Grande left out(either for time or it hadn’t been released yet)
They found a tranquilizer dart in the home. Barry’s phone GPS had him zigzagging around the yard repeatedly.
He had defensive wounds on his arms.
He had just found out Suzanne was having an affair and was leaving him (within the week she died) - it’s verified via text
Barry dumped at 5-6 sites (on video and car GPS) disposing of ???
Barry said he fell asleep at 8pm the day before Mother’s Day but police have on video him reversing his truck into the garage at 9pm
Going to Denver to “work” and forgetting tools , not disturbing the bed, and the room stench of of bleach also doesn’t look good.
Suzanne’s last text said that she was scared to be alone with Barry and he had become emotionally and physically abusive
Barry said he went directly to Denver but when police found he turned left instead of right, he changed his story and said he turned left because he saw an elk. Coincidentally (or not) , very near where he stopped was where they located Suzanne’s helmet.
Barry was the one who called the neighbor and asked her to ring the doorbell and then check for Suzanne’s bike (even though Suzanne almost never rode) and then got HER to call 911. But even when he presumably had a missing wife he didn’t come right home.
Suzanne’s wallet and keys were in her car in the garage.
And there’s a lot more. It doesn’t look good .
In cases like this I always wonder how the family has such blind faith. I mean, her family all know he’s guilty AF but his kids are standing by him.

As soon as I found out the story is about a woman who had a husband, I immediately knew her husband, Barry, completed the murder. He did the murder. He's guilty. He's going to jail. I say: lock him up and throw away the jail.

Having survived cancer twice, is an interesting part of the puzzle. Suzanne and Barry were from Indiana and they moved to Colorado. It's my understanding that Suzanne did not want to move. It's my understanding that those under deep physical and emotional stress are much more likely to be diagnosed with cancer. It's also my understanding that Barry's father was a "hard man" to deal with, and that Barry himself, had a bad temper.
There are a number of mental illnesses/personality disorders that can cause someone to lose it. With all the circumstantial evidence, something is seriously wrong with his behavior. I wonder what it is, borderline, psychopathy, narcissism ???

Dr. Grande, I have one question that I can hope you can answer. I am a true crime enthusiast, reading every true crime book that I think was ever written! I watch your You Tube show all the time, and I would love to ask you this question....These murderers are described as functioning normal human beings for years...not diagnosed as psychopaths. Why then, does a part of their brain think they can get away with the actual killing of a beloved spouse? This has always intrigued me. This is not Ted Bundy behavior...these people live together lovingly (or so people think) for years...Scott Peterson, Michael Peterson, Barry Morphew, and so many more....As intelligent as they are...what makes them snap, but moreover, what makes them think they can get away with this? It is almost like there is a 'missing link' in their perception of reality.

Thanks for good info. "Its a Crime" does the BM timeline really well. My guess is that he killed her for the insurance money, being in some kind of financial hole. And that she was buried in the ground before he had the cement poured. An old lady witnessed that she woke up and heard the possible bobcat he used, machinery running for about half an hour in the middle of the night. Just as she got up and went to the door to investigate, he shut it off. So she went back to bed.

The last thing that I care about in the online crime community is assumptions. Videos that assume things and accuse others of things without real evidence is evil. Do not paint this man as a killer without solid reasoning. We must wait to see the case to be made against him. I've seen many cases of individuals being falsely accused and we should not be rooting for that.

The wolves theory is very logical and cogent and I'm surprised no one else has come up with it. Unlike mountain lions, wolves do not necessarily leave a blood trail. Perhaps you can be an expert witness at trial. You can elaborate on the clever behavior of wolves and how they don't have to extort money from humans but rely on their sales techniques. Furthermore you could give us examples of cases where wolves have cunningly used dumpsters to hide crucial evidence such as biking helmets.

That was an exceptional analysis, bringing psychology into the theory. The willingness to conjecture is what distinguishes this channel. The fact that Barry was acting weird is at least some small indication he's not 100% cold blooded. Imagine someone completely unfazed after they killed someone.

It’s well documented that Barry was domineering and jealous, some suspect Suzanne had suffered a serious injury from him. Many believe he was being unfaithful and that Suzanne had had enough and decided to leave- the most dangerous time for an abused partner as we know is when they attempt to leave. They had money troubles and no way would Barry have wanted to share any of the equity from the two houses etc. It’s so similar to so many other cases where a wife disappeared it’s almost as though there’s a ‘Mariticide for Dummies’ available.
Knowing Barry voted Trump just confirms all the bad ideas I have about him!
