Thank you for taking the time to make this video, I learned a lot from it and was able to rebuild my own top end on an 1998 xt 350 which is running awesome now.
Yew beauty I've been looking everywhere for how to line the timing up! Had no idea about the marks on the magneto and casing. Moines probably to dirty to see lol
i got it now:)!!! was a new junk head gasket!! it was letting oil pour into the combustion chamber... at least now i know how to build a mosquito fogger!! lol it runs great now.... cant wait to hit the forest on thursday...
little plastic picec you didnt know are valve stam seels. (remove valvesprings to change (big bar clamp and simple modified, cheep sparkplugkey) if pistonrings and zylinderheadgasket are new or good but engine is stil burning oil. better save that time for riding if not nessesary^^
Hmmm. My first thought are have you got the rings in the right position? the gap in the rings should be either diagonally opposite or at 45 degrees from each other. The oil ring maybe faces back.... It has been a while since I did it. I remember going to my local yamaha dealer with the piston and rings and talking to one of the mechanics
so i just got my tt350 togather tonight.... and it smokes like hell... white smoke..... rings are new and i dont think a valve seal could leak that much oil.... idk... any ideas??
ey ermano yo tengo una moto igal pero no tengo las refacciones me podrias ayudar , es el piston, biela , perno, candados, anillos, no se si me puedas consegir un contacto..gracias
oh my god brother please do not tell me you really believe that those green little rubber things going on boats please don't tell me that please disassemble. Motor right now and fix that please

hi, where do you find exhaust pipe?
The pipe is a Staintune, made in NSW Australia.
Were those new cam caps?
Yes although at the time I had no idea what they were for.
What kind of exhaust is on it
It's a Staintune muffler, modified and shortened slightly as well as repacked.
What exhaust is that???
