@@olivealbers2478 this story demonstrates how destructive love can be if it’s for the wrong person. Contrary to popular belief Love is not all good and wonderful and it can be very terrible and nasty in the wrong situation .

Almasy was totally burned of that plane crash, but his book survided, strange. Anyway the movie was a masterpiece.

Watch Kristen Scott Thomas in other films with romantic scenes. She is a shadow of the woman she portrays in this film. Their scenes were incredible. When he is carrying her and she tells him that she always loved him, if you didn't start crying, you are made of stone.

One of my all time favourite music videos was one made of Emilie - Claire Barlow's T'es pas un autre using footage from The English Patient. I was truly addicted to it. And then suddenly one day it just disappeared, never to return. I think Cyber Monster You Tube relegated it to cyber space . . . Now you've resurrected your baby - and the footage of my beloved film is used AND the music of my favourite artist/performer Sleeping at Last. Can I also adopt your baby in the hope of its survival at least to its teens ? I want to cherish that electrifying chemistry between Fiennes & Scott Thomas, and guard it jealously from THE cyber monster . . . Congratulations on a sublimely made video.
