The fact that this song is already 60+ years old, with crappy technology makes me more suprised how talented these two sangers were. Just imagine, they would sing in this era, they would blew everyone away...
FYI, the Righteous Brothers (tenor Bobby Hatfield and baritone Bill Medley) took turns being the lead singer and doing solos on different songs. Each of them had a spectacular voice, and together, their harmonies were perfect. There's a lot to explore with them.

This is a classic song, and in someways started a new era in music style, the producer was Mr Phil Spector and his style became known as the"wall of Sound ", which for the first time included orchestra backing and deep bass , if you want to see a more modern and more passionate version of this song , look up the Long John Baldry / Cathy Mcdonald version from the 1980's, it is a much better version in my opinion.

Some idiot has messed up the audio of this track by trying to 'remaster' it, which is why the bass on the left , strings on the right, and the vocals in the middle get too loud in patches.
