That method of storing the case bolts is exactly what we used to do when I worked in the bike shop in Ireland ,fail safe 😊 good old builders ,that was nice of them 👍 chin mount! 🤐😅

Hi Harry, better to keep those case bolts in order as there're a few different sizes 😂, I'm never too proud to ask for a little help, it took some stopping that wheel from turning 😂, let's not mention the chin mount, it's a company I certainly wouldn't recommend for it's customer service......... Colin ☺️

Geeez hopefully you get the the chin mount sorted out.
Wee Mark, is poorly today. Shivering through the night, and today.😢
Hopefully it goes away. The Transalp is coming along sweetly Colin.
Oh I ordered a gear linkage for Bumble. Glyn Owen fitted in his last video.😊

Evening Mark, yes this chin mount is becoming a nightmare, I was not to good yesterday, some bug the kids bought home from school 🤢, the transalp is getting there, not much more to do now, is the new gear change lever much different to the original one? I hope you get well soon ....... Colin ☺️

Can't tell how glad I'm to discover your video. just tried the same on my 93' transalp but I break the pressure plate as I was tighting the plate at 12nm as described. I've already ordered a "new"one but I'm now afraid doing the same mistake again next time. I have juste watched your video and can't understand what I did wrong. Any advise? I did the criscrox tight being gentle with the bolts and TAC no more pressure plate...

@@Axel-bb8go , hi I'm sorry too hear of what happened, was the plate the old one? if it was it may have been weak, and to be fair it would have been very difficult to spot, you did everything right by your description, is your torque wrench correct? I've seen this happen in the past where you set it to the specified settings but it over tightened it, worth a check, with a new plate you should be fine, let me know, thanks for watching, good luck.,....... Colin ☺️

@@droneon29 thanks so much for your quick response. I've installed the new one. Set my torque bare to 8nm, I don't dare to go over.

@@Axel-bb8go , hi I'm sure that will be fine, it's always a bit worrying whenever you torque a bolt, especially the small ones, I'm glad you sorted it, ........Colin ☺️
