Avatar has to be the most interesting social experiment i think I’ve ever witnessed. Dozens of people out there claim they never care about these movies and yet we all collectively turned the first two into the 1st and 3rd highest grossing movies of all time.
Damn. This is a real director. Look at the energy in the room! Everyone is focused on him and reverent towards him. They admire and respect him and the interviewer lady maybe even feels a slight sense of fear.

I do wish we'd gotten to see more of Jake and Neytiri together, but I understand that the second movie was to be focused on their children and less focused on them. I did feel that the one person who didn't fit was Spider, but as a human, that's to be expected.

I severely loved both movies. The story didn't have to be perfect, but the reason I loved them was because I live in a climate that's all grayed out, dead and depressing for quite literally half a year - Each year. And these movies really help me get out of that "everything is awful" mindset each winter because they bring out a glimpse of nature I'm craving so god damn much...
A video here on youtube "Disney Fantasia, Mother Nature to music of Hans zimmer" is this 'Fire and Ash' an event of rebith after destruction, but ultimately a reason-principle of nature, not two opposing sides but one in balance. It's very powerful. Avatar team here are the best. you guys are just great.
I’m cautiously hyped! Way Of Water was on par with the first Avatar. The run time, the pacing and sense of deja vu plot wise are just certain glitches. This time, I want to see more story told in brisker speed. But also know when to raise the stakes
All the destruction coming to Pandora would make the tibal people furious. Some might even turn their backs on the tradition of peace and oneness in favour of revenge. Its natural progession

What i can see is that Jake and Neytiri will have to deal with the fact that Jake remains a Human in spirit. I think this will and should be a true test of their bond because that aspect flew over imo. And it would be nice to see how they deal with it.
Yea he's never really broken out as an actor people really can't want to see unfortunately as I think he's very good he's kinda like channing Tatum back in the day he was only getting certain roles then later on he broke out, Sam Worthington not so much but let's be honest he doesn't have to he gets to continue working with Jim Cameron play this great character and make great money he basically won the lottery getting this role

She kinda gave away part of the story here, if one of the movie's themes is whether the family will stick together in hard times, and the audience is supposed to be questioning this watching the movie, we now know in advance they will stick together. Good title though, it's catchy, Cameron is a master at marketing his films, he picked something unusual for Avatar, thus hinting at an interesting turn in the story, but it's still catchy and so incredibly marketable. Hopefully the movie won't be 190 minutes.
I had a minor issue with the run time as well since it took less than an hour for us to get to what we came for. And perseverance is something the man upstairs knows the kind of theme we need in these crazy times

I really like the first one because it has all the scientific stuff and the second one is just like fighting in the way of water. The first one has lots of details so like just avatar avatar two was so sad.
They filmed this movie so long ago they're probably struggling a little bit to remember the mindset of the characters at this time 😂 They are already in the headspace of the characters in the future films. One of the actresses filmed a part so long ago she thought the movie had come out and didn't do well, when in reality we just haven't even seen her character yet

Close up shots are over used in the way of water and not the best choice for Avatar Franchise, many jarring cuts and constantly changing shots. its not satisfying. Widescreen shot/Longer take cinematography is powerful and compelling cinema. There is something about it that is so cinema, so engaging and captivating. Avatar 2 & even Marvel are out of touch with that new modern cinematography. These films understand, and have proven/shown us that new level of current modern cinematography: - All quite on the western front - Alpha - The Revenant - Napoleon - Furiosa: Mad Max - Killer of the flower moon - La La Land - Kingdom of The Planet of the Ape... We could notice that They all have this one thing very in common: widescreen shot/long take cinematography: visual story telling. They all embrace, embody and take it to the next level. That’s the key trick, even Marvel does not understand.

This man will always be GOAT'd for the first two Terminator films, Aliens and Titanic. His legacy is untouchable.
