I haven’t watched the full video yet, but as someone who was born and raised in Tampa and still lives there, I’m here to give my suggestions: Sports games are great here. My favorite team is the Tampa Bay Lightning, but that’s because I’m a huge hockey fan. There’s also the Buccaneers and the Rays. All the sports games are very fun to go to. Obviously in the theme park department, Busch Gardens Tampa is where it’s at. Zoo Tampa and the Florida Aquarium are great options for specifically animal experiences. The Vinoy is a very beautiful and historic hotel located in downtown St. Petersburg. Exploring downtown Tampa in general is fun, and also of course the beaches. In terms of water parks, Adventure Island is probably the best one around. There’s obviously a lot more than that, but those are just what comes to mind.
I've lived in Orlando for 20+ years and there's some stuff on this list that I haven't done yet. BGT is my favorite park in Florida too! If it was in Orlando I think I would go every week.
