Hi Gerry, Just seeing this video now and a masterclass is the way I can only describe it. The David Brown footage was brilliant and brought back so many memories for me. So glad you got that much hay. I have my own down now since yesterday and shuck out this morning and things are looking good weather-wise thank God 🙏. Great job well done to you all-round 👏 🚜💯👍.
Weather - the bane of every farmers existence! Gerry - what weather radar apps do you use? I use yr.no which used to be great but for the last year is about as accurate as I am on a hurling field. Another class video, would love to have the smells odd the hay. But hearing the crisp sounds of the hay as it hit the tines on the Tedder was top notch
Beautiful heavy crop of hey Gerry and you were lucky with the weather that sky was threatening rain !!!! Lovely tune out of the DB and an even better tune out of her when she’s on the JD square baler 👍
Great video again Gerry, you're flat out. Smashing field of Hay,hard to beat a bit of old school Machinery. Even if it does say Case on the side of it 😉
Always nice to see the DB out but glad I’m not driving it 🥵. Glad you’ve got some hay in, I’ve not started yet! Forecast has been all little… off 😏🤦♂️
Another awesome video David Brown work well wonder what those Rose would be like with a twin rotor rake baler look like it worked really well we'll said the same with some grass-fields slightly worried about not having enough for cattle so we put them in there and now regret it hopefully going to be this afternoon hope the rest of family good take care stay safe cheers Antony 👍
Always great seeing the David Brown out working Gerry one day I will add one to my small collection of vintage tractors, and that was a good crop of hay you got of that field mate.
If your ever thinking of buying a single rotor rake dont ud be better off buying a good 2nd hand 2 rotor singles are only good for tuning over straw to dry other than that they are a waste of time
The young lads would still be inputting the settings into the satellite self-steering new-fangled tractor, while Ben would be leaving the field, having done the flippin job in the Davy Brown!
Looks a lovely crop of Hay! How long was it down Gerry? That's one thing lve often thought about cutting leafy silage.. You don't get any of that self seeding. That's great for ground in the long term. Hay is a great feed for young stock too. A lot of benefits to it. Great to have a bit of Hay in a shed too for a sick animal etc
Great vid Gerry. I was wondering for a bit of second cut silage and I know it's prob hard for you to do it with following the harvester but any chance of some footage of the teleporter working on the pit.
If that was me I wud mow it an bale it up. It b worth tbe while washin the yocks. The will stunt that field for the rest of the year. I made that mistake lastyear never again
Awesome 👍
Another great video Gerry 👍👍👍👍
Jerry Snr is some boy to keep the rows straight 👍

Those drone shots of the David brown and the music to go with it where something else, couldn’t get enough of it😍deadly video Gerry
Reminds me of my father when he drove the David Brown 990, except the wheels were in white,

David browns were the most underrated tractors in 60 and 70
Nice to see the Case (David Browne ) rowing up
Love seeing the Davy broon out ! 🤙🤙
Great quality video Gerry.
Great video lovely drone footage and its good se the old Dived brown at work👍👍
Gerry . That David Brown looks Class rowing up . You keep all your equipment pristine .
looks savage hay
The David Brown is mint 👌🏻 still more reliable than Adrian's 895 🤣
Loved your south western fertiliser accent as I am from Devon 😂
I think I asked you this last year again Gerry 🙂 how much fertiliser do you spread on second cut? I just go with 1.5 bags
For 2nd cut silage . 3 bags per acre usually of can. And 2500 gallons slurry to acre also
Not a David brown or jd man but there’s a Sweet note off the browns engine
Think when it come to older tractors. Make and model goes out the window. We just appreciate
Great video

What width is the tether Gerry? Looks like a dromone. Fine machine. I just happened to be gawking at one last weekend.
I would rather have a case 895 then a John Deere 9rx because you can’t beat a classic sound
Sell John Deere buy 10 cases
Great video fair play 👍👍
Cheers 🤙
If that was me I wud mow it an bale it up. It b worth tbe while washin the yocks. The will stunt that field for the rest of the year. I made that mistake lastyear never again
You're dead right about the great sight of the Maggie Broon on the haybob, Gerry.. Used to loved haybobbing with our old 2130.
