Tutorial : Connecting your GA-B2100 with Casio Watches App

- In this video, i briefly show how to connect your GA-B2100 to your smartphone and use some of its features. There are some settings like Day Reminder which can only be set using the app. Do let me know in the comments if you face any issues in connecting your watch, i will try to help as much as possible

Is it possible for reminders to automatically be sent across connected watches? Well, first casio would need to consolidate apps; but I think this would be useful.
I don't know why they came up with a new app, now I have three apps, one for Edifice, one for B5600 watches and now one more for B2100. The notification area looks clustered. I wish they clubed all of them into one app.
I think Casio is in the process of consolidating the various apps into the new Casio Watches app. I’ve got an Oceanus OCW-T3000 and the Oceanus Connected app was updated yesterday to transfer everything to the Casio Watches app.

Tiresome having multiple apps for different g shock watches. Is there a way to change the GA b2100 to GA b2100c as clicked wrong one on start up or do I need to delete and start again? Your video enabled me to at least set the time which I was struggling with so many thanks.

Good work. I just bought the same yellow watch and was looking forward to setting it up. Some frustration followed as Casio haven't made it at all intuitive - who wouldn't think that the Casio G Shock app is the correct one......! Anyway, all is working as it should now!
Does yellow color get it dirty easily over time?
@@Green-ef1wq I have been wearing the watch non-stop for four winter months and it is still looking fresh. The plastic is hard enough to resist dirt but still comfortable. 100% recommended as this is a 'wear and forget' watch which gets positive comments from those who know what it is, and is always legible (great lume at night). Also, being linked to my phone and also solar powered it looks after itself. Go for it.

I have recently purchased this one in balck and red i was just confused why the battery level indicator is the sun logo and not a battery logo? Made me think it was the amount of light it was recieving

Does the app turn bluetooth on and off automatically when needed to sync the time several times daily?
Or does bluethooth have to be always on? That would be a no-go.

Hi, how can we disable the Bluetooth from the watch. If You work on aircrafts, hospitals etc you are not allowed it on. Please advise thank huh
I wish the app would let you set the synchronize time duration....once a week or month or when i open the app.

It took me ages to work out how to connect the watch to my phone the model number of the watch is not what the app is asking for during the set up it’s a 4 digit number written on the back of the watch. I managed to connect it in the end but it could have been made much simpler to use. Love the watch love the yellow colour love the positive display window, best watch I’ve bought for the money well done Casio !!!!
@Barry. I had the same trouble. Took me a good couple of hours to sort it all out. Could be just easier.
Now I've sussed it all out I absolutely love my new G Shock.
It looks great in yellow.

I didnt find any use of that phonelink, using a gshock since ages without bluetooth and still dont feel a need to comnect with phone.

Took delivery of mine today , I registered the watch but I ca]'t pair it, keep getting a pop message saying To use this function , you need to turn location and nearby device access on in the permission of this app , which I did , yet I still can't pair the watch....any help greatly appreciated

@chandrakantasenapati3863 Unfortunately no , I was still able to set the time and alarm manually so its kinda OK, obviously the app would have made it more simple, doesn't deter from the fact its an amazing watch and I wear it every day 😊

In the permissions section you will need to select a few items to allow access.
No it doest. It says log in with casio ID. I dont have casio ID

The Casio app has stopped working for me on android so I can't use my watch on my upcoming travels
The authentication works but inside a browser inside the app. The app still doesn't know it's logged in, spent hours

This new app is no good for my GG B100 it will no longer show my log maps Casio area going to lose customers over this
This app and Casios service is garbage. Great watch but do have the new app direct you to register a new account, and sends sign up emails with verification codes required and no verification code on the emails. Try multiple times same thing, really Casio? Get your software working. I’m going to use this watch with manual setting it. The signups are just information grabs anyway.
I don't want to sound like a nitpicker, but you're using gloves for an inexpensive Gshock watch? Kind of weird.
It's more often done to stop fingerprints and smudges.
If he didn't wear gloves people would probably complain about his fingernails or something. You can't please everyone.
I hate that they set limits to the reminder to only 5.
I don't care If they put a subscription on it like 10 dollar annually to unlock some feature.
I want a reminder that is repeatable. something like pay bills, pay rent, walk your dog, visit your grandma. etc.
it's been how many year already why are they still not adding such feature to a watch.
I don't really like my smartphone to do this shit for me coz it requires a phone with you. coz there are times where you do not want your phone with your coz you are trying to be productive.
