Hey I wanted an update on this! I don’t know why I was so invested in the garage reno but I am so glad to see the floor. It turned out great! Looks awesome. Hopefully it’ll hold up nicely 👌🏻
It's been in use almost 2 months now, and so far, so good. Only downside is fishing out any tiny hardware that got dropped. It's like a game of Operation, minus the buzzing.
@@ShoestringMartha oh I didn’t even think about that! I would love flooring like that too but I think with all the snow where I live it might not work out.
lol - that Jeep is Ames' baby! There is a Jeep trip planned. However, it's another dog-friendly road trip; we're not camping. We are planning a Jeep + 4Runner overlanding excursion, but that's a ways down the road, so to speak. 😉
@@ShoestringMartha I’ve been using a bunch of your ideas on my Jeep. I bring my 2 German Shepherds on road trips out to Utah a couple of times a year. We do a lot of BLM camping in it. It’s set up so I can leave the back seat in, or completely take it out and have more storage space.
@@ShoestringMarthaI was convinced you were an engineer of some kind. You certainly have an engineer’s mindset. ( That is intended as a compliment - I spent 25 years in the defence industry before training to teach mathematics.)
Once again, sweat equity yields beauty, charm, style, VALUE!! Keep them coming! 😊
Awesome!
This looks Amazing! You two work well with one another. Your remodel is so Pretty
Thank you! Since I was working, this one was 99% Ames. I only provided digital design and swooped in last minute to do the cutting. 😂
You girls are awesome! Not to mention a project in 110 degree temperatures 😅
Looking Good, Sisters !
I’m dreading Senior Management seeing this video, she will add doing our garage to her list of my jobs. 😀
Hopefully management keeps the scope of the project to the flooring -- that was the easy part! 😂
WICKED COOL looking 😎👌👍👍👍👍

Sweet lookin' garage! I love the blue accents (my fav color)
Bonus: if you align the back up cam guides with those lines, you can total center the Jeep when parking. 😄
👋😁 Look great! 👍
Love this!! 🖤🖤
You should do a trip in the Jeep!!!

Sounds like a pretty sweet setup and an even sweeter crew - happy travels!
What brand of tile did you use?
We used the Nitro tiles from: www.garageflooringinc.com
What type of engineer are you?
No engineers here - just a UX designer and postal carrier 😂
TY
@@ShoestringMartha Awesome job, and attention to detail 👌👍
