Dude thank you for your honesty. Most other you tubers praise swisstrax like they are getting paid by swisstrax and its so obvious. Thank you again for keeping it real. I respect that good sir.
You are honest because you mentioned the disadvantages which are very very important specially the dust and tire dirts collection underneath ,I think it’s difficult to clean even with air blowing specially in Canada
I agree and love my Swisstrax! The benefits definitely outweigh any negatives regarding this flooring. Regarding turning your wheel, I just make sure I am moving at least a little bit and I've never had a problem so maybe that can help avoid future issues too.
My Review. The Logo & Graphix Trax are sort of discontinued. They do offer this service, but it is no longer done in house and can be quite expensive. (I wanted my RUclips channel name written across 4-5 tiles) Yes they can be slick. I've had my race ramps slide forward as well. My one complaint that no one usually mentions is that they hurt to lay on or walk around on barefoot. I also use a leaf blower, but have started to remove and clean underneath the tiles more often. I will take the the tiles with me and set them up when I go to a car show. I live in the Chicagoland so I also get a lot of salt stains. These are easily cleaned up at the end of winter by giving the tiles a quick mop. Great Channel.
Thank you for being honest in your review. Turns out the disadvantage of ripping it apart when turning is a major deal breaker for me. Honest review approved! 👍
What a great review - learnt more about swisstrax in this video than years of watching Matty lol! No disrespect intended to OG, but you just gained a sub from me!
I’ve done epoxy paint before, which eventually wears off and leaving traffic patterns. I like the idea of this flooring and the look. Have not walked on Swisstrax product, but have on other brands. I didn’t like how the other brands felt under my feet. Always a little flex happening underfoot felt weird…
I'm a big guy as you can tell and working barefoot doesn't feet to great.... it doesn't flex but it's not the best. They do have that Smooth version which Im sure would feel much better
It look good, but sound like a lot of work to keep it on the floor. I like my epoxy floor and the big rubber interlocking pads. I do think your floor looks great, which make for a great looking garage Thanks for the info
I have the professional epoxy floor. Used that for 2 years and ways always a fan, but it needs consistent cleaning… with Swiss Trax I believe it’ll just be one big clean a year which I prefer
I’m going with tile but I need solid not vented because my application in is a work shop with a concrete floor that is 29 by 39, 1131 sq foot not counting the office and clean room. Overall my shop is 30 x 60 outside dimensions. However, it is a woodworking shop so lots of sawdust. Also lots of equipment on wheels to move around. Likely go with coin style PVC.
All the dirt and dust go down into the flooring and you'll only need to clean it out every couple of years. the other flooring you'll have to clean it 100X more often
After seeing this video, i know Swisstrax is nothing for me. I own multiple (race)cars that will be driving around inside the garage to make room for other cars, i work on them so they leak, blablabla.. Thanks for your insights!!
Have you experiences snow and slush in the winter? This may be a complete disaster with SwissTrax- with months of puddling, road debris, etc. Curious to know. Professional epoxy is what I have - 50% more $ but without removing the entire floor seasonally
I have not experienced it yet but I’m sure I will soon. I also have professional epoxy floor but that is also a mess when snow and slush melts. I think with Swiss Trax the mess will be a spring problem not a every time I drive in the garage like with the epoxy, but I guess we will find out soon enough…
Hi, thanks for the video. I have 4 car dolly that I put under the wheels of the car to move it in my garage. Would that work also on Swisstrax? I see you move with your chair very easily.
I like the look of it. But i dont believe its really practical. As someone who is like the mechanic of the family and friends, i work on cars alot in my garage. I dont think these tiles will make it any easier for me to move my floor jacks, engine hoist, and not sure i would trust my jack stands sitting on top of these tiles while i work under a car with my creeper.
"Once a year I have to pull all my SwissTrax out and clean the floor...." Hard pass for that reason alone. You are a big fella.... it must be a painful operation to shoehorn yourself into that Vette?
Haha, you don’t have to clean out the Swisstrax once a year, your call. As for getting into the vet… I let gravity and precision butt aiming do most of the work…. Getting out is a different story, I say a little prayer, pucker the butt and let my thunder thighs do must if the work and hold my breath. Once I make it up and out I feel like a new man!
Curious on the Vette...because I am 5' 11 1/2".....and although a skinny young man, am now a bit of an older lardazz, now.....I tried getting into a vette a few years ago and It was painful....haha Does the Swisstrax comform somewhat to garage floors that slope toward a center drain from 3 corners of the room? I am also a little concerned about them being so rigid that they will have 'air space' between the bottom of the tile and the cement floor....causing a disconcerting/ unstable 'foot feel' and clattering noise as you walk over them and the tile makes impact with the floor....can you envision what I am asking? Maybe they will work for me...thanks!
I can tell you already without watching the video. Your garage floor is going to get awfully dirty underneath that flooring. Where else is it going to go?
This flooring makes no sense to me. If you're doing real work just have your normal concrete floor and sweep up at the end of the day. Having to remove everything from the shop and remove the swisstrax to clean is a massive waste of time and energy. I was contemplating making a bit of a spot in my shop that has this floor to park a car on and have a lift but i dont think its for me.
Basically a waste of time and money with zero benefits and a shitload of maintenance. Remove once a year to clean the floor? Are you people out of your minds?
I don't work on cars like this but I love my garage tiles; they're not Swisstrax, they're Plasti-Pro Loc. They make my garage look great, they are way more comfortable to walk on/stand on while working, my floors don't get chipped or damaged when I drop even very heavy tools like impacts or 5 lb sledge. The finished look alone makes them worth it but they're also very functional. I just use my garage vac to vacuum over mine like a normal floor, sucks out the dust when needed. Until you've owned a shop yourself and tried these, it's a bit presumptuous to call the concept stupid. There's advantages and disadvantages to tiles just like any other garage floor covering or leaving it bare.
Dude thank you for your honesty. Most other you tubers praise swisstrax like they are getting paid by swisstrax and its so obvious. Thank you again for keeping it real. I respect that good sir.
No problem 👍
You are honest because you mentioned the disadvantages which are very very important specially the dust and tire dirts collection underneath ,I think it’s difficult to clean even with air blowing specially in Canada
I like how honest you are about the products you use. I respect your honesty. I like how the tracks look in the garage.
Thanks!
I agree and love my Swisstrax! The benefits definitely outweigh any negatives regarding this flooring. Regarding turning your wheel, I just make sure I am moving at least a little bit and I've never had a problem so maybe that can help avoid future issues too.

👌🏻. If it helps, it hasn’t happened again as I know how to drive off and on the lift with this flooring now.
Great points. Accidentally ripping the tiles up when you’re turning or accelerating is something I wouldn’t have thought of
It’s scary at first but once you figure out how to drive on it, it won’t happen again.
I'm a student and at the school we work with sonic tools, I'm love with them 😊😎
Nice. When I was in school we had a box filled with random tool!
Thanks for the insight. Looking at doing the floor in my garage this spring and like this product much better than epoxy.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for tuning in!
If nothing else, they truly look awesome in your space
great review, I never thought of the possibility of the flooring moving when turning in to the garage. great heads up.
I'm dying, I also have nipples incase you wondered. LOL.
Peel and stick tiles make more sense just like your reg floor get dirty and sweep it off
never realized how good the c6 can look in black until now 😍 making me continue to second guess my decision to get a yellow one lol
I’ve seen some sick yellow one wrapped with some black accents. Google it you should find a couple
Appreciate all the honest info on this product that I have looked into...
No problem!
Installed Swisstrax a few months ago. You make excellent points.
Thanks! How are you enjoying them so far?
What a great review - learnt more about swisstrax in this video than years of watching Matty lol! No disrespect intended to OG, but you just gained a sub from me!
Thanks, Glad you enjoy it!
Do u think a 4 post lift will move much on the these tiles? Obviously would drive slow.
You would cut holes where the 4 post mounts to the contract. Do not mount thru the flooring
Wow! He’s covered and told us all the problems 🥰❤️
👍👍👍 good points my man. Especially the leak. Imagine it was engine oil...🤔🤔🤔 💣💥💥💥
Thanks for this review. I always wondered how well these work and hold up.
No problem 👌🏻
What an out the diamond one. There are no holes. Nothing will fall down there the easier to turn your wheels ?

Yes, if anything it does complete the look. But high maintenance.
@2:25 I was definitely wondering, thanks for confirming 🤘
Clearly you haven’t subs to my @Onlyfans
I’m torn and leaning toward polyaspartic coating as my garage has drains under each parking spot for winter car washing. So many decisions. lol
I have the professional epoxy floor. Used that for 2 years and ways always a fan, but it needs consistent cleaning… with Swiss Trax I believe it’ll just be one big clean a year which I prefer
Are these slate gray? I am debating between slate grey and pearl silver.
This is the help I needed to make my decision thank you
No problem! Glad I could help! So are you going with it or not, I would love to hear what your tipping point was
I’m going with tile but I need solid not vented because my application in is a work shop with a concrete floor that is 29 by 39, 1131 sq foot not counting the office and clean room. Overall my shop is 30 x 60 outside dimensions. However, it is a woodworking shop so lots of sawdust. Also lots of equipment on wheels to move around. Likely go with coin style PVC.
how well does a floor jack slide mechanics creeper on this
I put adhesive on the bottom of mine here and there and No movement at all. I just vacuum mine.
love how it looks
Thanks for convincing me not to use this type of garage flooring.
That’s why I did the video
Just curious how did you get your twin busch lift to stop slipping and sliding on your swisstrax flooring
what is the reason of buying this style of crate style vs the diamond or any other without the openings? thanks
All the dirt and dust go down into the flooring and you'll only need to clean it out every couple of years. the other flooring you'll have to clean it 100X more often
Love the channel.
Thanks
Which thickness for these tiles is the minimum to consider when buying them?
After seeing this video, i know Swisstrax is nothing for me. I own multiple (race)cars that will be driving around inside the garage to make room for other cars, i work on them so they leak, blablabla..
Thanks for your insights!!
Glad it could help!
this is unrelated to the flooring, but curious how that hoselink hose reel is holding up? I'm interested in getting one of those myself.
Good to know,, thanks!!!
No Problem!
Thanks for the great video!

Rad Garage on youtube has Swisstrax...deals with Canada winters, and washes cars inside. He has videos showing how he deals with clean ups yearly.
What kind of car lift you have?
Definitely like Swisstrax
Yup they are great
Love our Swisstrax
They do clean up the look of the Garage!
What would you go with if you had to do over again?
100% love it now
Yeah that's a no for me.... one of my friends has a bagged BMW, he lowered his car on the swisstrax and melted some.
I did forget to mention that!!
Hi, thanks for the video. I have 4 car dolly that I put under the wheels of the car to move it in my garage. Would that work also on Swisstrax? I see you move with your chair very easily.
Don’t forget Carpet Trax!
We all know Carpet should not going in a Garage… 😜
Alot of great information. Thank you for not dragging it out.
This video was funny and informative 🤣
Haha thanks!
what is the lift that you have under the corvette?
I see that you had epoxy flooring, why the Swisstrax… trying to decide between both.
Both is preferred. But if you are to choose one Swisstracks keep the garage looking clean and the dust down
How do engine hoists roll on these?
they wouldn't be a problem at all
good information
I had a boss that used to tell me that i was as useless as nippels on a men, best boss i ever had 😂😂😂
😂😂 sounds like a fun boss!
You are the Man
🥹
Awesome video
Cool garage
I like the look of it. But i dont believe its really practical. As someone who is like the mechanic of the family and friends, i work on cars alot in my garage. If you lose a screw then you are screwed !
Unless you’re working on RC cars screws don’t fall through the flooring
Great information
Glad it was helpful!

Gayrage look good
Hahaha thx
Do they work well with Jack stands and floor jacks
Havent had any problems with a jack but as you can see I mainly use a lift
Nice car
Who would want to remove the floor once a year just to clean it? Sounds like more work for what it’s worth
You don’t have to. I haven’t this year. It comes out in sizes of the car, you don’t have to take it out one tile at a time.
Seems like they get ripped up pretty easily while pulling in and out. What a pain
At first yes... but the biggest problem is I have to turn 90 into my garage. for someone that just drives straight in there wouldnt be a provblem!
I can tell you already without watching the video. Your garage floor is going to get awfully dirty underneath that flooring. Where else is it going to go?
commenting for the giveaway 😃
you could have tried harder....

Each to their own
Swiss trax are not for everyone. Pups don’t like walking on them. I’m definitely not buying them or anything like them.
Ridiculous having to remove floor annually just to clean !
Basically a waste of time and money with zero benefits and a shitload of maintenance. Remove once a year to clean the floor? Are you people out of your minds?
You eating good bro, but this concept is stupid. High maintenance, more of a headache than a good idea

Thats what iI thought and thats why I have never used it before... now that I have it... i love it
well said!
