All the best for you mate....greetings from Poland
Adrian W. Cheers!
DunkinDoo Pepe I was born in the wrong era as well.. I'm 13, and jeez. Did rap really change. I would like to hear more stuff like this, especially old Mobb Deep, Nas, OutKast, Pac, Biggie, Big L and so many others were fantastic. New rap is getting more boring, dosent bother me much that new rappers rap about drugs and stuff but I've heard it so much it gets so tiring. I want rap to go back where ALL rappers were lyrical like how it was in these kind of days.
Dude just stop plz
Probably the most notable song/story of my youth and still to this day.
22 years later & he's friends with the former president & feuding with the current president.

R.I.P Twin Towers...the last of a great generation...just like this song.
For real the 90s was the last great generation
J Cole brought me back to this classic
This song has always been motivation for me to get Money!
this song is historic frfr, same with the biggie scene at the end 👌 belongs into the museum of rap
To think this were Jays success started here, his career went nothing but up after this underground classic, man this beat was so hard and so 90's.. and you had to know he was something serious after he made the video classic ... and one of my Favorite Jay-Z songs for sure
from a helicopter into a lexus..... lol Love 90s hip hop
Can't forget the leather coats and crystal 🤪 Not one rapper today would roll in a lexus in a video.
Luis Castellon you might never know with east coast rappers but west coast rappers never were into Lexus Thats What I love about the east coast BMW, Merc coupés and Lexus instead of chevys
in my
Opinion right now the best beat of all
Time!
For me this is one of the best rap songs to ever be made.
"If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be
Lyrically Talib Kweli
Truthfully I wanna rhyme like Common Sense
But I did 5 mill' - I ain't been rhyming like Common since"
He intentionally dumbs down his lyrics to appeal to masses. But every few years he drops a gem of an album. Reasonable doubt, blueprint , American Gangster
Jevon Adams Yea dude still drops gems like on "Open Letter" Bitch Dont kill me vibe remix, The Devil is a Lie, Seen it All
Iam doa as well
