    I have the Chicago one and I have already used it on some small projects nothing fancy and it did the job better than I expected compared to what I was working with before which was a cheap hand saw from the dollar store😂 so when. I got to use this lil gem (i.e. Chicago tool) I was in heaven lol well at least that's how I felt and my experience 👍🏻super happy and yes I know I know it's not the "best" blah blah blah but.....what ever works for you and what ever makes you happy don't let anyone rain on your parade👍🏻
    I had no idea Warrior made one too I will have to check it out!
    But as far as the Chicago one I already have I love it and its a collectors item to me👍🏻

      I've had great luck with harbor freight tools, I don't need tools that the 'best', I need tools that get the job done, lasts a long time, and cost less, not more, so I'll keep buying HF tools - thanks for subscribing!

    I got the Chicago Electric one, couple of years back. Added a Dewalt quick blade change adapter soon after and love how helpful it's been.

    Thanks so much! This type tool was recommended to me recently and so I’ve been shopping. I received an ad from freight harbor and decided I was going to go look at it. Your video helped me in my decision. I wish I had that work surface!

      check out themakersmob or youtube channel pask makes, neil paskin is part of the makers mob and he sells plans for the minibench, and it free if you join the makers mob ( along with a LOT of others from him and others) - I joined recently, as I like several of the makers, I did a simpler version, but the idea came from him - glad you found the video useful - thanks for subscribing!

    You are correct in that the cupped washer can be installed either way. But, the intent of the cupped washer is to act as a lock washer. When the cup is faced toward the blade and the hex screw is tightened the cupped washer applies tension to keep the screw tight.

    Warrior is the replacement for Chicago electric. Most of the drill master stuff is being removed entirely without replacement. Bauer is also replacing some of the Chicago electric tools

    • @snapwholeharborfreightreviews
      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  Год назад

      its not a 1:1 conversion, but drill master was the 'entry level' line, and warrior now has that role, CE was/is several lines rolled into one, with the low end tools moving to warrior, and the supposed ''professional' tool line moving into bauer and hercules, examples would be DM's grinder, corner sander, small polisher, heat gun, rotating handle recip saw, simple drill, hammer drill, heat gun accessories being relabeled to warrior, CE's Oscillating tool to warrior, CE's random orbit sander, cutoff tool, zip saw, 2 vacuums, planer to bauer, CE routers are moving to bauer/hercules, that is just the relabels - if you search my website, you can find the manuals for both versions of the tools with the names changed, you can 'see the future' in the manuals as HF will publish the new manuals at least 6-12 months before they announce the tools - thanks for subscribing!

      @@snapwholeharborfreightreviews It's sad but I understand that HF wants to compete with the big guns but that's what I loved about HF the novelty tools they had made that place special to me so I'm trying to collect a lot of the brands they are phasing out, pretty soon they are going to go "big corporate" and forget about the lil guys that supported them when they had a different vision, but oh well that's life easy come easy go, I still enjoying visiting HF and I enjoy watching them flourish and beat some of the major brands out there with Hercules and Bauer.👍🏻💪🏻

    What are the extra two parts that come with the tool? They have a small plastic block with a slit along one side, a spring with a cable running through the middle off one end, capped with a flat metal piece with wings.

      Got it, they are the motor brushes that need to be replaced periodically.

    I got the one that predates them all from harbor freight Chicago freight 1.6 amp not the most powerful but for basic use it will do as long as I use better-quality place like the Diablo

    Everytime I put on the sander attachment on, it loosens a minute into the job. Any helpful input?

    • @snapwholeharborfreightreviews
      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  4 дня назад +1

      you have to really torque down on the screw, pretend you are trying to over tighten the screw, everytime I use this and the attachment comes loose, I re-tighten the screw and it stays on, summary - keep tightening the screw until it stays on, lots force required - thanks for subscribing!

    Two questions. Do you have to use the blades from warrior or can you use like a milwaukee blade? If you can interchange blades does blade quality matter?

    • @snapwholeharborfreightreviews
      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  Год назад

      I use HF blades, but you will need to get a milwaukee blade to verify it fits, but I'm guessing that is an industry standard size and they are the same, but never hurts to verify, I use HF blades and I really abuse this tool and the blades and they both just continue to work with no problems - thanks for subscribing!

    Can't keep my blade on. Any ideas?

    • @snapwholeharborfreightreviews
      @snapwholeharborfreightreviews  4 месяца назад +2

      tightness of the screw is the key, with the vibration of the tool, a blade will come lose, I have this problem, and just keep tightening it until it stays on - make sure the to put the short end of the allen key in the screw, and use the long end of the allen key to get more force - thanks for subscribing!
