Love Subaru! Was very curious about the Ascent, but wasn't sure it'd fit in my garage, nor my budget... Ended up in an Outback. Really wanted the big sunroof, the Java brown leather and dark mahogany pearl. The captain's chair back seats seem very nice for road trips with friends. Thanks for sharing your experience!
You are welcome and thanks for the feedback! I have several family members that have an Outback and they all seem to love them, especially when the weather gets rough! If we didn’t have a baby on the way and 2 small dogs we probably would have ended up in an Outback or Forester , so far the extra legroom and cargo space has been unbeatable.
Another solid video, Austin. Just straight to the point with everything! We specifically produce LEDs for auto. Can we invite you as a collaborator to do a review? If so How can we connect with you?
Nice! I have yet to drive a subie with the 3.6r in it but would like to! I love the area down there but one wrong turn and the roads can get pretty sketchy lol
We’ve tried it a few times, I just didn’t film it since we’re still getting used to it. It works well with the adaptive cruise control, especially on long stretches of straight highway, it’s weird to get so much feedback to keep it center once it finds the lanes lol. Something we’ve never had in our cars or previous Subarus
I didn’t think about that, it’s a lot smoother than I expected, years ago we had a ford edge as a rental car and that seemed to jerk all over the road and was noticeable when it happened, this is pretty smooth so I could see how that would help newer drivers learn to stay with the lanes and not quickly jerk the wheel

Oddly enough, years ago when i bought my 2010 Legacy 3.6r, my 1st road trip ... 7 hours from Ohio to Gatlinburg. Must be a Subaru thing

Did you try the lane centering?

@@AustinJenner All the lane keeping feedback is very helpful for teen drivers actually.
