Good video, keep up the good work bro :) Btw, how many case studies a portfolio should have ? and what's the best way to apply for companies or to distinguish between good and bad ones ?
Minimum of 2 case studies in one portfolio. There is no best way to apply, You have to look for job profiles which matches your level. Good companies will decribe in the job description that they clearly want a UX Designer. Many companes hire UX Designer but all they do is graphic design.
@@Methodical_ad Thanks for replying, Hm I'm aware, sometimes they literally put the description of a graphic designer btw some companies give assignments which are too big, is that a right practice ?
I'm a BTech student studying Computer Science, and over the past couple of years, I've realized that coding doesn't hold as much interest for me anymore. I'm considering a career switch to UI/UX. However, I have this fear or doubt in my mind: Will I have opportunities in UI/UX considering I'm from a Tier 3 college?
I studied my mechanical engineering from a private university as well. Not so reputed. It's doesn't matter, do you have the skills? Do you have the urge? Do you have that passion? If yes then you can surely be a great designer. And you already have knowledge of development so it can be a great plus cause it will be easy to communicate with developers.
Hi bro, do you think its easy to get into product or UX design after having experience as visual or motion designer. or companies prefer someone who has a design or engineering degree?
No worries, you will have a benefit in adapting the skills of ux design and in future it will help you in creating creative designs as well. so you just need to understand about ux design and create a portfolio on it. and you are good to go.
