Awesome explanation bro😊 I have 3 ft tank near window and populated with 5 big and 9 small gold fishes. I have top filter added with ceramic rings.. I don't have space for activated carbon in my top filter. My water becomes cloudy in 2 days and yellowish in one month. Pls advise what needs to be done to have clister clear water always

Do water change weekly once.. Add bioballs or lava rocks for more beneficial growth . Do check with your water quality and nature..!
Use topfilter with 7-8times filtration effeciency
Eg.: If your Fish tank has 150 litres ..!
Use topfilter having power head of 1200-1400 liters/hour

U must top-up fresh water every week or 15 days once
U must regularly maintain your fishtank weekly once (preferable)

Avoid activate carbon for single fish aquarium, it would be needed for high populated aquarium
Also it is not preferable for flowerhorn and other chiclids
U can add bio balls and ceramic rings itself enough for flowerhorn fish tank
U can add lava rocks decorative purpose as well as biological media
