This video is about #Bioballs benefits in our #aquarium . Bio balls is a biological #filtrationmedia which is used to grow the benefical bacteria in our aquarium ( fish tank ) . Bio balls are small , pegged plastic balls mainly used as the biological media in aquarium filters . They are used as the biological media in saltwater and freshwater aquariums as well as ponds .Nitrifying bacteria will grow in bio balls which eats ammonia and nitrite . nitrifying bacteria needs oxygen that why they are living in large surface area like sponge and bioballs etc., We have to set atleast two kind of filtrations like mechanical - chemical , chemical - biological , mechanical - biological. because we have to grow both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria for eliminating all three ammonia , nitrite , nitrate in our fishtank .
