Unfortunately, people aren't looking into sources, either because they work all day, follow social media only, follow one side of the political landscape , are actually in the disaster zone, or will not look based on their personal beliefs. I know 3 things to be 100% true. Please don't blast the messenger. What I say is 100% true and can be verified as such, the rest I don't know. Only the future will tell truth, and how far out depends. And remember Katrina was full of misinfo. too. How quickly we all forget. So, The Biden Administration tried to call Gov. DeSantis in Fl. He and his people would not take the calls. Start of Rumours and lies in place #1, and further told by a certain groups campaign. Notice we only saw Trump in Fl. Then, next-Fema workers were sent in to help elsewhere too, in S. Carolina, I believe. In walks Militia groups from the Maga , and are literally hunting Fema workers. As far as I have learned, they were told to leave the area for their safety. So, everyone naturally thought they were left to their own devices, and some were. This was politically motivated, thus the confusion, which is exactly the point. True evil exists in many forms. Just Google anything and make sure to only follow official Gov. business, and then vet that source also, if you choose not to. Anywhere that is impartial is best, such as Snopes, All sides, NPR, PBS. There are more. To the Fourman's . I hope I am ok to say this here, I wouldn't say it unless it were true. I love the land you have chosen , absolutely stunning and what I want someday. Thank you for being you. The goodness in humanity! Best wishes...

I’m a FA ✈️ and the same day Hurricane Helene hit Asheville, NC we flew from Chicago to St. Louis and we hit a lot of turbulence then as we were getting ready to take off from St. Louis to Asheville, we got calls that our trips to Asheville were cancelled do to the Hurricane just hit Asheville. The next week, I had a trip to Asheville, NC I didn’t think it was going to go, but we flew 30 volunteer’s from Chicago to Asheville, NC and we were timed out, so my airline threw another crew on our flight to fly us home and they flew onto Tucson. Sending my heart-felt positive thoughts and wishes that these Hurricanes stop and everyone recovers emotionally and financially. 🙏

I watched this and cried. My heritage is from Appalachians. My mom, grandparents are from SE Kentucky and Virginia. My dad's side are from Tennessee. It breaks my heart to see such beauty disappear in such a short amount of time. I live in the city now, but always wanted to move to the Appalachian area due to the nature, the peace and tranquility. Like she said, you never would think a Hurricane could do so much damage. Some of the areas shown I've been in and it hit my heart more than normal. It's true, Appalachians do come together like one big family when needed- but this was too much. My Baptist Church is working with a Baptist church in Tennessee and in N Carolina to help bring relief to areas hit. What you all have done, words couldn't express the gratitude from your help in the hard hit areas. A lot of the landscaping has changed, people have been displaced. Having people like you, Fourman Brothers, going out there and helping as much as you did, was a selfless act of kindness that won't go unnoticed. God bless you for holding your own, while listening to the painful stories of others, and not allowing pride to intervene. You 3 really are Angels and Heros rolled up in one. God Bless and Much love.

I live in Leicester North Carolina and I have lived in Florida my whole life so I get the destruction that hurricanes can do. But I was not ready for what happened here. To say everything that you have ever learned about humanity and compassion was retaught through this disaster. The only natural disaster that did not happen was an earthquake, but yet all others were within this storm. But none the less, people did put their issues aside and pull together for one another.
Now we rebuild and continue on the road to recovery. To the families that have lost loved ones, we continue on for you. For those that lost everything, we got you. North Carolina is and always will be a state you can't bring down. God bless to all affected and recovering.

She didn’t mention Transylvania county I live in Brevard, North Carolina, and we got hit pretty hard. Everywhere we were out power for 10 days. We live right next to the French Broad River. Thankfully everyone came together all the churches and just all the people come together for our community and gave out supplies and water and we were very thankful.

I know I’ve shed a tear or two for some of the families you’ve investigated but this video has my soul crying for these people, sobbing and what they must be going through. I cannot even imagine. They are truly living in Gods country right now. It may be totally devastated but people caring & truly loving thy neighbor, helping strangers and those they may have not cared for before, now brought together. They are survivors with the Blessing of Gods Love getting them through the hardest time in their lives.
Thank you Josh & Shaun for making the trip and showing us a more personal story of what they are going thru. God Bless you 2 and all that are touched by the devastation of Helene. May God continue to bring the citizens together and strangers provide with the Graces of God 🙏🏻✝️🕊️

Josh, just a suggestion for those who have insurance, they have additional living expenses, tell them to go buy a travel trailer or RV and the insurance will pay for a portion of it, if not all of it. They can park it on their land and at least have something while they try to rebuild. Love you guys and the the paranormal nightmare tv family and may blessings flow to those people.

You’re optimistic about insurance paying out in a timely manner if at all. I’ve seen how long it takes with decent insurance coverage and they always look for loopholes to not pay out. They are in it to make money they are crooks.

Thanks guys. I’m in Weaverville NC - several trees crashed into our home and our neighbors too. But we were above the flood zones thank goodness. But we have many months of rebuilding ahead. I’ve been a subscriber for a long while and it’s very touching to see you shine a light on this incident. Because as time marches on, people will not give the time and energy toward us. But we need so much. For many, many months to come.
