    You are an inspiration. I was diagnosed with a tiny (5mm) triple neg BC in December picked up very early through screening, I had bilateral therapeutic mammoplasty 3 weeks ago and I will start 4 cycles of chemo in a couple of weeks.I was feeling scared and very sorry for myself bemoaning the side effects of chemo...and then I found your channel. I am humbled by your courage and embarrassed at my selfpity! I'm 54 with a family history of breast cancer so not too surprised at my diagnosis. I will be watching all your videos and gaining strength from your spirit. Much love to you.

    Thank you for sharing this .. heading into surgery soon for colon cancer . Feeling different about it this time , as I have already beat breast cancer 7 years ago .Its funny how we automatically go to being tough to survive things that scare us .I am so blessed to have resilience in me that I call on when I need it .Much love from Nova Scotia

    Wow!!! My husband and I were just talking about this today. So weird that I am now just seeing your video as well. He was telling me that I don't give myself enough credit for what I have been through and how I have dealt with it all. Honestly, I haven't. Just finished surgery just over a week ago and feeling anxious about the pathology report. Its been a lot 8 rounds of chemo and now the surgery. Bless you and this channel Marina. Every time I see one of your video's, there is a message I have been meant to see. Thank you again for you and all you do!

    Hello Marina, your msgs always inspire me & hit home w/ me. I just had dmx w/ sentinel node removal Wednesday but I am healing! I am so grateful I am on the other side of surgery now. I was so anxious going into this. Chemo done too. I do feel like a Warrior! Cancer is hard physically & emotionally.

      Hi! Thank you for sharing! It’s okay not to cry too. But we do need to acknowledge all the feelings that got us to where we are. I’m proud of you for doing what you had to do. Now hold your doggie close. ❤️

    Hi! I’m a stage iv mbc survivor and I don’t know if I’ve ever really processed my journey! I was diagnosed in 2019. I’m always putting on a brave face- when my emotions creep in I swallow them and keep going. I don’t know if I know how to process all I’ve been through. I know how to keep going though. 🌈🦄

    • @MarinaBlackford
      @MarinaBlackford  8 месяцев назад +1

      That’s OK too. If it feels right to keep going do that. I honestly felt the same until I lost a friend to stage IV breast cancer that was younger than me. In the end, it brings me so much gratitude for my life. May we live fully as survivors! And congrats on being a stage IV mbc survivor! That is the best news!

    How is your mum doing with the anastrozole? Too much muscles/joints pain here. Does she have the same?

    • @MarinaBlackford
      @MarinaBlackford  9 месяцев назад

      I’m sorry to hear that! She is doing well. She gets infusions for osteoporosis. This might help with joint pain. She doesn’t mention any joint pain on anastrozole.
