I had the 50 watts version, great amp. It is super quiet, more than other amps, and that means you can crank the gain with much less noise. I used mine with a booster. It destroys all the vst stuff
Fajnie się siebie ogląda i słucha szczególnie jak zaczęłaś nawijać po polsku. Fajne jest to w jaki sposób wszystko tłumaczysz, napiperw własna opinia potem próbka brzmienia potem znowu opinia etc.. Ale też w taki sposób że to wszystko ma w sobie ład i skład a i sam film też się nie ciągnie w nieskończoność a jednocześnie nie brakuje w nim konkretów. Tak trzymać (y)
I think it's a great thing that you can set the amplifier to 10 watts and still have a good sound. It reminds me of the amplifier on my stereo system, which can be turned down, but if you set the "Loudness" function, you still have a great sound. This Black Star amplifier sounded very good to me, a great device.
Great testing..! I llove Blackstar sound, and..now I know why I have always preferred the British sound more, because of lows and mids. though nowadays I love both!

I didn't use a noise gate. I used Two Notes Torpedo Captor X, which you can see in the video as a reactive load box and it was connected to the interface and to the computer for recordings.

the Series One is a very nice amp, but if you want a tube amp for metal, save money, do everything the Blackstar does, and much more, look no further than Bugera, specifically the 6262. It has DC heaters, i.e. it is very quiet, almost like the Blackstar, but certainly one of the quietest, has more gain, and has the amazing Infinium, a computer controlled bias system. I myself had the Blackstar Series One and liked it very much, but now to me Bugera are the gods of tube amps. I owned about 50+ tube amps.. Marshall, Fender, Peavey, Blackstar, you name it. You won't get anything better for the money, go for the 6262....don't let ignorant people tell you that Bugera is cheap, it's this or that.....these people understand nothing. Bugera is pro tube amps at great prices 👍

Enjoyable distortion. I’ve never been a big fan of black star clean. I think Rivera is the only one I’ve enjoyed and I can’t afford that. Have you tried an EQ and compressor in the effects loop or between the guitar and amp? I don’t know if boss still makes it but they had a dual channel EQ and so you could run one for clean and one for distortion. Add a micro amp (tube driver) and you can dial in the blackstar to almost any amp (to a degree) because of its tone shaping. Also does it have EL34s, 6L6s or something else? Awesome playing as always and good explanation of the amp.

All the distortion in this video is from the amp itself, I didn't use any additional pedal. In this exact moment I just used footswitch to change a clean sound to distortion.

Mam pytanie,czy bliski Ci jest harmoniczny dur i jego modusy? :) Czy byłabyś skłonna zrobić "recenzję" tej skali? :) Wiesz,coś o progresjach modalnych podkreślających charakter danego modusa coś o harmonii funkcyjnej,bo z tego co wyczytałem w gamie naturalnej funkcje akordów na poszczególnych stopniach są inne niż w durze harmonicznym. Niestety panuje jakaś ogólnoświatowa zmowa milczenia ;) na temat harmonicznego dura i ciężko się czegokolwiek nauczyć. Pozdrawiam!

I got a Blackstar ID:260, their excellent amps, very metal. You can also get many different sounds out of them. Very underrated amps.

You should use a boss sd1 in front of this your style is tight metal stuff. Or whatever tube screamer ts9 or similar. The low end is a tad too loose.
This video was supposed to show the sound of the amp itself, but in my newest ones I use additional distortion pedal 😉
