So glad you went back to Brushy Mountain. One of my fave haunted places. Those cell doors closing all at once. That was so amazing. And it was loud! And that loud noise y'all heard in the other cell block. The one that you couldn't tell where it was coming from. That was really loud. It sounded kind of like a pounding noise. Real loud and echoing. I could picture a riot going on when I heard it. I had my big blue tooth speaker on connected to my phone and that loud reverberating noise was so creepy. That was pretty loud for a prison that has no power going in it. That was really crazy.

Hi Jon, there was at least one male talking and walking at 36:18, I could hear it really clear. At 48:49 I heard a whistle. At 57:31 A guy says !Help or need help ???.
At 59:01 it sounds like a female says "Bless You" after your last sneeze. Wow so many noises, that place was the most active I've ever seen on all of your Brushy video's. Very awesome investigation, thank you foe sharing it with us, much love. xx💖

Brushy mountain prison is a very active place. There's so much activity within the place. I always am so focused on your videos that I always forget to check the time stamps when I hear or see things.
Ok I like this channel and subbed. I just cannot stand how he says he will link a video in the description and doesn’t. Oh and btw the 26 minute video is not on patrons like stated. Btw I live in Cumberland City TN and my wife cleans a house that was built on top of a log cabin that was used as a hospital during the civil war. Would love to have you come out and do a video. The logs are in the living room walls still and when you walk in you can feel it in the air.

OMG, this was so terrifying! So many weird sounds, I heard lots of whispering throughout. There is a voice at 37:39 when you guys heard all of those weird sounds and you ran downstairs to see what it was. It sounds like a male voice yelling kind of far off but can’t tell what was being said. You guys are very brave for going into that spooky place! 😳
What was that at 48:49?! Sounded like a yell or scream, right after that really loud alarm sound from the REM pod and right after you guys said you heard a scream. Yikes!
Another growl at 52:27, right after Jon said “It’s very unsettling.”
Every time I hear a lot of sounds in the background I see shadow figures and I go that is not good.

Some of the tales told about Ray's "escape" are quite funny. First they said he went through a 12" square window and slid apx 60 feet down a wet wall. Then came the tale about leaving in a bread box. Problem he was working in the early morning bread crew of 6 men in the upper kitchen. The bread boxes were apx 5" deep x 26" wide x 40" long and they stacked on top of one another. In max security NOTHING moves until count clears. The van that took the bread to Renz farm was loaded and locked in a sally port until morning count cleared. The truck usually left about 9:30 am and was locked in the back. Several inmates that morning seen two suits at the control center and they say Ray never got to the bakery . Also several guards working that morning received super promotions quick one even became warden. One guard who was the bottom line rank, never got promoted but ran the prison for 20 years, he told sgts, lt's and even capitans what to do. Jeff City had a huge influx of Germans after WW2 many owed the US Government big. No one has ever really looked into the "escape" instead just relied on reports from our leaders.

Pause and zoom. If you see that post closest to the camera look at the door just to the left and behind the pole on the opposite side of the room. I see a creepy face peeking in from that 1/2 open door. Its a short distorted figure.
When you went to go see the pentagram there was only three doors open when you came back out the other door was open the very first one
Just got done touring there today.
It looks like they have fixed up some parts of the prison with paint etc. I hope they take steps tp preserve the paintings in the cafeteria. I heard a very distinct whistle and went back to time stamp it but could not find it again. Brushy never lets you down. Lots of whispers . Keep Safe❤ Keep Well ❤

I'm nearly certain that was just the other dude (i believe he said his name's Josh) he has w/him. There's no way to know for sure because he doesn't acknowledge or confirm it, but the odds sway heavily in that direction.

The funny thing about the showers was you usually got time to shower without another prisoner but there was a female sargeant and a couple other female guards that would stand right there and watch you shower, blatantly obvious, making conversation and everything. She was later caught in an inmate relationship at another prison and fired. Yeah, I did a little time here. The worst was the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. Awful. Oh, and all the rats on the bottom floor and the Copperheads on the mountainside out back.
Hi Jon, at 33:01 when u asked "who shut the doors", I can hear the growl and I barely hear a voice that said, "I did". On the other vid with S. Afterlife, you can hear the comment, but not the growl. So freaking creepy!! I wonder who's answering u, and if it's the same spirit growling and speaking, cuz I heard both at the same time!! Awesome 👍!!

I actually have met TIM CROSS in MARYVILLE TENNESSEE at the LORDS DISCIPLES CHURCH in BLOUNT COUNTY,very nice man. TIM painted the inside and outside of the church,every murial has a story.
