Don’t worry Alphys, this isn’t the surface, this is a sort of purgatory/pocket dimension/anomaly on the surface. I theorize that the player is someone doing research on the hotel and that the entities were illegal scientific experiments gone wrong using humans. They all gathered here as a sort of safe place form humans and act aggressive towards intruders. However once’s you go into this anomaly of a world you can’t get out so the entities can’t chase you out so they have to kill you. I say this since Jeff, El Goblino and Bob are the only entities that aren’t hostile to newcomers. Jeff actually helps new comers and El Goblino said that they were stuck inside the hotel and were just trying to survive. The monsters are just defending themselves but they don’t know who to trust. And the entire must be afraid of Figure since there is no entities in his rooms, not even Screech or Rush enter this room

let me give yall some explaining; these monsters/entities do not fully exist, only in the game DOORS, and they are about to be explained by me; Rush: hide in a closet to avoid him. Signs include seeing the lights flicker upon entering a new room. Hide: do not stay in a closet too long, or any hiding spot in general. Screech: DON'T stay in the dark for too long, using a light source will DECREASE, not stop, the chances of him appearing, and as for avoiding him, look around for Screech and stare him down. Signs will include "PSST" and staying in the dark for too long, he may appear with no warning so be aware. Halt: when your view flashes a blue-ish static, TURN AROUND. This will happen for a while, so be patient. Ambush/cooler Rush XD: like rush but will go back and forth as well, use your knowledge of hide. Seek: will chase you for a few rooms, and signs for Seek are the eyes appearing on walls and occasional light flickers. He will appear twice per run ALWAYS, the second having LOTS more rooms where you need to pick the right door, if neither doors on the left or right have a blue glow, it's on the opposite side. The Eyes: DON'T. LOOK. AT. IT. The Figure: he is blind but has good hearing, stay crouching if your near him. He gets faster each book you collect. It has a heartbeat minigame that happens when he thinks your in a closet, so just have good timing and be patient. Jack: just a really big jerk and can prevent you from getting into a closet, and if you are REALLY UNLUCKY, he can appear in two closets in a row. Timothy: upon looting, you may encounter this little dude, and will SCARE THE ABSOL U T E SHISH OUT OF YOU. thats about it, so if you ever go to the surface and try to get here, just keep this list of info in mind, for now, bye!
With the heart mini game, I was kinda expecting them to be surprised- Why? Because the color of the soul is classified as a monster soul, yet it isn't upside down. I feel like they would question if that's even a soul trait, especially Chara, Frisk, and Sans. Also I'm going on a search to find a f!y/n as the player- Idk it just seems so interesting to be! :D
I really like the ending of doors I like how they made it really nice instead of other games how they just leave it finished in the middle of it I like how they made it well detailed😊
