Back in the 70's we never had cars bending up like they do today, but we did have some old lumbering vehicles, I recall everyone wanted a Westminster or A60's variants.
It amuses and puzzles me why these people think they have to blip the throttle when manoevuring. I see no point in it if the cars are capable of running smoothly.

Same reason Senna did..... it stops the back losing traction when applying throttle in a corner
