Back in the day when the leaders had to actually pass and go ROUND the back markers unlike today when they all get out of the way whenever the leaders are anywhere near them!! Much too much use of the blue flag these days.
Barry Lee in my opinion is a cheater. It looks like he uses side skirts that are able to move up and down so he had that extra ground effect. Like some f1 cars used back then, only not sure if by rules it was allowed in the hotrods class
