Heart-Pounding Winter Hedgerow Discovery :Metal detecting uk

It was great to have such good weather for metal detecting -, especially on boxing day! I grabbed my metal detector and ventured out into some of the ancient hedgerows. I wasn't expecting to find anything, but i was so wrong!
In this video, I was really excited to find some really interesting artefacts and the fact that I was able to do it during such good weather just makes it that much sweeter. A break in the weather meant i could get out metal detecting on this mild boxing day treat, I wasn't disappointed either with some great discoveries made, including some really puzzling ones!
Metal detecting this time of the year can be hard so working in areas where finds might be hiding is the key to it.
