First off, I'm glad to see the faces of other Seether fans.🤘🏻❤️🤘🏻 I've been a Seether fan since 2005 and I personally think Shaun and Dale and John and now Corey evolved musicly over the years and like wine, they do get better and better with age . I'm always looking forward to listen to new Seether songs and hear and feel where it will take me as I listen to them. The new album...SSSF I felt they were going back to the "old school" Seether sound and that's fine with me as long as they keep rockin' 🤘🏻 ❤️ 🤘🏻
Im 38 and have been a fan since the Disclaimer I days. Still one of my favorite albums to this day and it does get overlooked i think. I agree with the problem that as the discography keeps growing its harder and harder to see deep cuts live. I remember seeing them at small venues in the late 2000s when they opened with No Jesus Christ and played Beer from the Saron Gas album. You just dont get that anymore.
Kinda surprised at how you guys unanimously hate Feels Like Dying. It’s one of my personal favorites. I can see how some parts are repetitive but I dont think the song would flow the same without repeating the part between the verse and chorus 4 times.
Morgan here, I wouldn't say "hate." It's got a nice, bouncy little flow to it. It just does not really speak to me at all, and I can't think of any other Seether song like that.
@@Disclaimer_II i see what you mean. I guess i like it a lot more because I relate to it a lot more. Dealing with loneliness and depression and suicidal thoughts (sorry to drop that in a yt comments section lol. Don’t worry, im doing better now :) i relate to the lyrics a lot. The songs’s kind of like a cry for help in a way
@@Elxmenttt Hey it's Ricky from the podcast. Sorry to hear you're going through such a hard time. I too have struggled with these thoughts. Please reach out to any of us if you need anything at all
@@ricky1471 hey Ricky! Don’t worry, I’m doing okay now. I struggled with this stuff a lot when Poison came out. Even though I don’t relate as much to Feels Like Dying now, it still means a whole lot. Also, I don’t know if you remember but I said I wanted to do my own ranking for every seether song after watching your video. It took me hourssss but I finally sat down and finished making a tier list of every song and variation. Now I just need to find a few hours so I can go through it.
I think the dual vocalist thing is becoming a bit of an over-done gimmick. Sure, the art that's born of that collaborative push/pull between two people can be something special, but it's not for everyone. Shaun's vocals are intensely personal to him, and the result is a single dedicated performance, straight from the soul. His vision and his words are what keeps me coming back album after album. I wouldn't want them to change that, and certainly wouldn't want them to put any of it in someone else's hands.
They don't need a 2nd vocalist, I agree with the other guy, duel vocalists is a bit of a gimmick and overrated. What they need is another songwriter or two to contribute to the writing and help break up Shaun's monotony. In the past, Seether had other songwriters involved and they sounded much more dynamic then. Now on the past 3 albums or so it's been 100% Shaun writing everything and it shows that it's the same guy writing everything. All the songs really sound the same now and bleed into each other. He needs to allow another songwriter in to help spice it up and add in some new ideas.

This pleasently unexpected you need to act less shy tho
Love seether but they need to expand with adding a second vocalist.
