The location and floor prob cost around 3-5 million most likely. And the super rich do not mind paying premium for exclusivity. You can hardly find a house like this in Singapore, and take not GCB can cost 15m upwards to like 50m

I’m surprised it’s not a duplex up on the top. Really feels cramped. My furniture also is like a ballerina because it’s so light because it’s ikea.

its VERY bad. First of all this isnt actually the penthouse unit(it's actually James Dyson's $53M apartment)
Second of all this land is on lease(99 years just like a HDB)
The view of the straights is also not that impressive, u can easily get such a view if you buy a seaside apartment in Singapore.
For almost half the per square foot price, u can buy a condo in Singapore in a much more prestigious location such as Orchard Road, which won't be worth $0 at the end of 99 years(because they are freehold) and prob has a better view(aka the Singapore skyline)
No wonder none of these 4 "penthouse" units have been sold yet

News published on Thursday , 26 March 2020 , in report - ‘ Singapore Airlines calls for trading halt pending announcement’ - at businesstimes.com.sg reads as follows :-
“ The Businesstimes reported on Tuesday that the flag carrier’s pilots will be placed on compulsory no-pay leave of between four and seven days a month starting April 1. This comes as the airline and its unions work together to save jobs in what has been described as an unprecedented crisis for global aviation amid the novel coronavirus situation”.
In this context , it is apt to refer readers to related predictive alert in this Vedic astrology writer’s article - “ Some glimpses of coming year 2020 for Singapore” - brought to public domain widely in Singapore last year 2019 on 20 and 21 October. The said related predictive alert is reproduced here from the article :-
“Singapore in the first half of the year 2020 appears to be battling with the roadblocks in economic, trading, and national issues. The period from April to June 2020, particularly May-June , are likely to present need to trackle roadblocks in the field of cinema or hotel industry or such products as are aimed at invigorating common health. Some inordinate delay in response or non-cooperative behaviour of some nations can be a cause of worrisome concern. Issues having something to do with sea or sea-products are likely to present worrisome concerns, may even generate or mean heavy expenses. Partnership or co-operative enterprises need some attention. Aviation and tourism sectors may call for more care and appropriate strategy during April to June 2020 in particular. More care may be taken while handling or storing or dealing with fire, gas, chemical, hydro-power, and energy resources during these three months , particularly May-June of the year. Mineral and metals and industry related thereto could present some worries. Some unforeseen worrisome concerns in trading of iron and steel, thermal coal can be likely. Grievances of labour class or workers may engage attention, and could impact trade and industry during said three months. Some worrisome concerns surrounding trade or trade agreements with one or more countries can arise for addressing.”
It may be observed from these documented readings that the predictive alert of this writer , much prior , can be viewed as unique , precise and accurate.
Note : - This writer’s other predictive work in relation other nations for 2020 can be visited at :-

I worked in factory manufacturing vacuum cleaners for a bloke called Dyson when he decided to shift all of his manufacturing to Malaysia 4 a quarter of the cost he got knighted and with that knighthood and all that extra money purchased vast tracts of land ( A Nice Tax Break )and received taxpayers benefits from the EU we truly are working in a horrible Society today just as it was in the 70s but the tables have turned and now the Greedy are rewarded and honoured and held up as Beacons of achievement oh and by the way he paid a couple of percent up from of minimum redundancy for the people that actually put him where he was the British Workman long live public education without you we wouldn't realise how really low no humanity can go.But I'm glad in a way that we were booted out this really was a class segregated factory whereby you had to wear a dog tag and the colour of the dog tagged told everybody else your pecking order in the factory and would keep door's locked from you so you knew your superiors by the colour of their dog tag. The the one and only factory canteen closed for after telephone and receptionist middle and upper management had gone home , the rest of the factory worked on a 24-hour manufacturing basis and that canteen was placed so far away that in our 12 hour work pattern in the for 15 min we had we could not reach that canteen, Even if it was open. We worked in hot temperatures constantly having wear plugs which caused painful calluses on the inside of the ear drums this really was a disgusting draconian factory going back to the 1940s or beyond god bless James Dyson. If you think this was made up I can supply names and addresses of everybody that worked there , and will tell you the same thing you're 15 minutes revolved around a small all coin dispensing machine that was filled up during the day and was empty on the night shift and then they stopped people from trying to smoke in their cars in the car park stating that it was a danger this truly was a disgusting factory the only difference from here and the 1800s was the age of the employees god bless forward thinking bigots w

Singapore is the most beautiful country on the planet. As an American traveler to the country, I fell in love with it.

How to make a 14 million penthouse look like a HDB 5 room flat...with a dyson vacuum thrown in would be a better title🤣🤣🖕

14 MILLIONS THAT GOES DOWN THE DRAIN IN 60-99YEARS. THE FASTEST WAY TO LOSE YOUR MONEY... BASICALLY ALL SINGAPOORS' PROPERTY DO NOT GENERATE PROFITS LIKE LUCRATIVE HK AND SINGAPOORS' DEVELOPING NEIGHBORS FROM FARM LAND TO CITY LAND THAT CAN BE MARK UP 1000% IN LESS THAN 3 YEARS.

The dining room decor is a hot mess, but the lights above the table are gorgeous. I thought the apartment would feel more expansive, but turns out it's only a couple hundred sqft larger than my own apartment!

Why on earth is this condo so expensive when it’s at Potong Pasir and it’s only slightly over 1000 sq ft. This is really just agent trying to sell “koyok”! 😜

Undeniably luxe, certainly modern, but it's cold with a model home feel that makes one think that real people do not live there.

For the people talking smack in the comments
What so wrong about Ikea furniture? It's affordable, but yet great and even offers a borderline classy feel with appropriate combinations and background in homes. The quality isn't bad either
I mean granted, this house sure does look overpriced af, 14 million for viewing cargo ships etc, not to mention it has a lease on it? Yeah definitely doesn't sound worth it
The reason why people might think the design looks off might be attributed to them filming 4 houses and the clips came from the 4 jumbled up, which might come off as messy I guess. The house doesn't look bad, stop shitting on the designers. While they didn't do an over the top job, it's still decent (or at least, should be).
But of course, nth justifies the 14mil price tag tho, that one can't deny
