My older brothers use to attend their concerts talking about them being on stage in diapers George Clinton is coming to my hometown in February he still bringing the fire and funk 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💐💐💐💐💐🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥💥⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
One of the most exciting musical experiences I've ever seen. Second only to Grateful Dead, for .me & imo. Truly talented musicians who were way ahead of their time... Bernie Worrell & Eddie Hazel, I can't get enough of George & Company & I owe it all to my Dad for turning me onto these guy's back in the 80's & taking me to go see them numerous times on the East Coast... I'm older now & my Dad has passed away, but his influence & interests in music helped me find purpose & inner peace in a mind that never quits.... Thanks, Dad , miss ya... R.I.P. and a Big thanks to PFunk for keeping it real for all these years... You're music is Timeless...
The powers that be hate it. Blacks and white would be getting along much better if it wasn't for a certain group that are ones that hide and rub their hands
@@uncleurda8101bro I have been to festivals. That are not the same. Scary dangerous environments where people will literally walk over a mf to be 1 foot closer to an artist they can’t name 3 songs of. You need to actually see pfunk to know what they are talking about. It’s an absolute party. Like it’s hard to tell where the stage starts and the crowd stops. We are all funking together as one nation under a motherfucking groove. They are still touring. George Clinton is the only founding member, the rest are either people who joined the band later on or family of lost members. But they are still so fucking good.
When I drove a truck for a living and it was dirty enough I'd write on the back "one nation under a groove" and "rock the Casbah." When I drove without a trailer somewhere people would pull up along side me and the passenger would smile and or wave after pointing to the back of the tractor. Sometimes even the driver would. Always made a boring day better. I don't know where or when I got the idea to do it. I think I was listening to some Funk on the radio the first time while swapping trailers. Anyway, thanks for the waves and smiles since I'm now medically retired.👋🏽
I remember riding the bus to school in the 9th grade bumping this on the back of the Detroit public transportation system, I blessed everybody on that bus with some funk every morning.
2 Bands one Sound My favorite Group of All of Time you couldn't tell me i wasn't a member of Parliament Funkedelic as a 15 year older sitting behind my Pearl Drum Set playing this by ear ✌️
Before Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Fen Phen, Slim Fast and all of these other "lose weight quick' schemes we had the Funk. Can't remember the last time I went out to dance.
No ma’am ms Ferguson don’t nothing get old but clothes your a wonderful person who’s gained the golden age because the good lord has smiled on you…ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE…YEAAAAAAH
You had to be talented..none of this convoluted assembly line mediocrity..Back then try-outs were as cold as the reality of not getting the gig.Either you had it or you didnt.period!
There was plenty of crap put out back then by package acts. There's so much good music being put out today. Louis Cole, Thundercat, Lettuce, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. The funk banner was never laid down and with the internet it's even easier to find good stuff.
Cool...I remember catching The ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE Tour in New Orleans and The Whole FUNK MOB Came out in Army fatigues on Roller Skated with One Band member skating around the stage carrying The huge Funk Flag on a Pole They were having Big Fun...k Love&Peace luv ya byo eJ ❤hornywary fonkadelli
Wow.. I remember this song 🎵 awesome no one makes music like this anymore. 🙌 miss the old days!! ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE. Love and blessings to all! ❤🙏
I can watch the video now, but I can no longer hear it because my mother was a singer and she took me on stage with her when I was a baby without any ear-protectors.
the funkiest song EVER made.......... George FUNKY ASS Clinton smashed this ..........ready or not here we come, getting down........... yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Saw George Clinton in concert in 1973. My two friends and I took a bus from Pittsburgh Pa. because I heard the great Buddy Miles would be there playing. This concert didn't disappoint it was wild to say the least. When George and P-Funk came on they tore the house down..
The kids were just dancing and I know that this will be a cherishing moment for everyone of PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC Bootsy Collins families to remember.🕺😎🤩😇👣 feet don't fail me now. 💀🧞🧜🚣🏼♀️Under water aqua boogie 🐟🐠🐡🐜👖🔦🥽🎸🥁🎹🎷🎺🎟️🎼🎵🎶🎤🎉🎊🏟️🛸
Great to see George Clinton turned the stage over to Garry Shider--for a while-Glens in freestyling mode- he's preaching to the choir funkateers out there-- great call and response-- improvising and getting down-- it's too bad by this time--Glen Goins was no longer with us- I think brother Glenn Goins was the best Funk vocalist ever-- turn me loose-- We Shall Overcome
Eddie Hazel died in 94’ a real genius that a lot of guitar players are starting to realize just how genius. Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks did “Maggot Brain” awhile back and it’s sounds great. Not Eddie and Mike but close😊.
❤❤❤❤❤💯😊 looking at this in 2024
I'm 70 years old and I still love my funk music

This kind of unity scares the establishment. See the difference between this and the atmosphere of concerts today.
The powers that be hate it. Blacks and white would be getting along much better if it wasn't for a certain group that are ones that hide and rub their hands
homie you ain't been to a music festival in a while huh

As a Funkateer, even with everything going on, we're still ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE in 2021!
And 2022, love.
and 2023
heading into 2024 baby! hope everyone had a merry (and funky) christmas 😎
6/2024 💥👊🏽💥 till the end of this time
Raw and crazy with no production but the pure funkadelic family...

thank you Mr.Truck driver for paving the way for me…I’m 30 years in now…ONE NATION UNDER A GROOVE 👍
This was a family of music!! Look how the women had their children with them while they sing 💙💙💙
Yes they did-- Lord bless the children-- a new generation of funkateers-- I think Lynn Mabry and Junie Morrison are the parents of one of the children
Yes my family always do this even now when my grandfather performs
I was lucky enough to catch George Clinton when I went to RFK stadium to see the great Buddy Miles.
Amen again and again. We're on the move, nothing can stop us now.
Are we under our groove with the funk in 2020 peoples?
It doesn’t seem like it as of August 2020.
One nation under a groove now the tRump is out soon.
@Gerri Petress Yassssss still I transition.
2024 still
I remember riding the bus to school in the 9th grade bumping this on the back of the Detroit public transportation system, I blessed everybody on that bus with some funk every morning.
Hell yeah we had it good 👍.
Quite simply the weirdest band I ever listened to in the seventies. Utterly, utterly brilliant. God save George Clinton. What a fucking band this was.
2 Bands one Sound My favorite Group of All of Time you couldn't tell me i wasn't a member of Parliament Funkedelic as a 15 year older sitting behind my Pearl Drum Set playing this by ear ✌️
This has got to be the funkiest song ever.

I am an old woman and this gets me up and moving every time ! I love the children who are included, too

Thank you so much for this blast from my past. Wish I could go back. 2024
Me too! This was the best groove music of my era... The 70's nothing like it, George Clinton a musical genius!!! Was ahead of his time.
The days before digital production and autotune when music required experiment, musicianship and didn't suck.
110 percent!!
You had to be talented..none of this convoluted assembly line mediocrity..Back then try-outs were as cold as the reality of not getting the gig.Either you had it or you didnt.period!

But sir nose is behind the wheel right now..(but i thought he was supposed to be PINK not ORANGE!
Beautifully said skate kid 4 years on.
I'm so Glad I Grew up in this Era. ✌️"Feet don't fail me now."
Imagine all of the various "Unsung" stories told by the band members!...
I heard that he used to throw joints in the crowd fire ass weed especially that era late 70s
Bring tears to my eyes.... thinking about me and my brother 😅 my brother passed away 2014 missing him 24/7
I'm 18 years old and this is my favorite song 😍

There will never be a group with that funk again I grew on the funk
Now I hear where Prince had as his influences!
Prince inducted them into the Rock 'n' Roll hall of fame
Still my #1 all time fave song!!!!
My Dad can't stop talking about this concert he's been to.
He's trying to make me depressed because I grew up in the 2010s.
Still listening & watching in 2020 !!! Back when music was genuine & authentic. I miss real music/musicians from these times 💯

My 8th grade soundtrack. I’m a Mexican/American from East LA.
It's like I was there and I saw them when I was there. Classic.

I strongly concur
They killin that pleasure principle..amazing..ain’t nobody gettin it like this no more
This should be The National Anthem
Just think. If George Clinton became president instead of Bill Clinton we'd be one nation under a groove!
Chavon!
Alot of hard work!!!!
love how the little boy starts to sing just before they take him off stage x brilliant performancex
ain't nothing like da funk!
Clinton for president....George, not Hillary or Bill. Make America's music great again.
We were all together then ,in the street , at work, and in our hearts,,,,,Thank you George, you gave us much more than what we expected to receive,,,,
Happy birthday Glenn Goins, guitar, vocals
Unbelievable I was strictly reggae as a Jamaican descendant but Bootsy caught me bad to bloodcatt , brought a starship ticket 😎😎😎😎

one of your only chances to hear him live RIP WALTER JUNIE MORRISON!
Michael White Who is granny?
granny is WALTER JUNIE MORRISON Granny was his alter ego as young a Ohio players lead singer
You tellin the truth! One of the primary architects of the album, and the anthem! Super Junie- The Cloaked One
@@MichaelWhite-yr2ei Two words...FUNKY WORM...!
They are even better live than that fantastic record!
Because it's supposed to be u don't compare a live performance to a recording thats an insult to a true performer

One nation under a groove
One nation under a grooove!
Awwww who are the cute babies on stage?!!!
This is my medicine!!
