At first glance I thought this looked very similar to the other 2 games,but after playing the demo I can honestly say it plays so much different than the other 2 games.The ground game is like a chess match,you have to time reversals perfect instead of randomly flicking a stick. The stand-up is much smoother this time and Pride mode is awesome!!! A must buy for any MMA fan whether diehard or casual.
@steelhawk89 When you train, they are permanent. Unless you exhaust a certain area, say train foot work too many times in a row, they will diminish in stat gain. Game plan stat boosts are not always permanent. If you succeed in your game plan, you keep the stats, if you fail them, then they are lost when the fight is over.
so no more cutscenes after some fights choosing different options because if that's gone then that's bad, it was good to see different actions and different words after a fight which changed your reputation and friendships or rivalries

@tehfuxx u prolly bought it used, if u get it used u have to buy an online code, but if u buy it new the code comes with the game and it's free it's the same for undisputed 3
@UFCMexicanFighter1 stat decay is removed. you will lose a few speed points doing strength training. you will lose a bit of your striking skill when doing ground work but that's real deal. if your are all power you wont be very fast. if you are all ground game you wont stand all fight. and it doesn't take more than 1 or 2 points so you can easily manage and make a well rounded fighter.
when you take a roster fighter into career mode do they suck at the start or do they keep there stats? it would be cool if you could improve on there actual ststs if your playing casually and dont feel like bringing a guy up from the bottom
about the 6 different camps, which ones are they, and does it include ceaser gracie jiu jitsu camp, because by playing the demo i just want to have a bjj fighter in career mode

Does your CAF record carry over in exhibition? It really annoys me that my record is 0-0, when I'm done with Career I was 50-2 and then I go and fight in exhibition and my record is cleared.
I hate the rating progression system too, you shouldnt progress in something like standing strikes while you regress in submissions, that doesnt happen IRL. And hopefully EA listens to that I keep suggesting it on EA videos. Lol. Oh and the career mode should be open ended, or with TUF to be able to get into the UFC. And a bit of story.
No bias bucause I'm a JBJ fan but if by some miracule JBJ gets JDS on the ground then I feel he has a good chance with those elbows. Yeah if Jon was stupid and wanted to standed he'd lose but if it was on the ground Jons lanky limbs would do some damage. I mean look at Machidas face, go to Danas blog with Rampage getting stiched up, and go look at an xray of Veras face haha.

They should make it so you can move someone to heavyweight at any weight class. I would love to see BJ penn in heavyweight, I want to see him super fat and look like a sumo wrestler.

I suggest you check out MMA other than in the West, and be open to redefining what makes a fighter great. Especially in japan, they arnt slaves to a fighting record when defining whats great about a fighter, something the west should consider... Go undefeated for 10 years, then lose three fights against established top fighters, and you suddenly are crap? Whatever

This game looks incredible! I liked the demo but this sealed the deal. I'm gonna pre order this sometime next week.
@54rocx24 Continue with your career. At some point when scheduling a fight. An offer to fight in Pride will randomly pop up.
