@OBZ74 when it comes to "muzzle rise" your grip is probably the most effective way to mitigate it.. So to answer your question, absolutely.. The grip control from Black Steel USA is not plastic or polymer, it's metal and it's strong.. ive got a gogunsusa gas pedal on my glock19, I've got a Tactical Development pro ledge on my P365, they are fine thumb rests but my thumb slides off of them when my hands get sweaty, probably because they're polymer.. I highly recommend the Black Steel USA grip control, and $110 is not expensive when u consider u can keep the holster u already have because it folds.. I have a Kydex holster and all I had to do was take a blow dryer and get it hot and the fit is perfect now.. If u but one of the before mentioned thumb rests u also have to buy holsters that are compatible, and they are easily $150-$300.. I hope this helps u with your decision, as well as the people in the comment section complaining about the price.. Save yourself some money and buy the Black Steel USA grip control..
Took advantage of 4th of July sale after finding you guys when Odin was too expensive & 1size fits all! So glad to have searched and found y’all instead! Position 2 was perfect for me!
Apologies for the late reply. While the average person can out around 12lbs of a force on a finger, our Grip Controls can handle over 180lbs of force. YES, lifetime warranty. We support you 100%
Dont know why a product like this didnt come out sooner.....like waaaay sooner for glocks. Just got mine today and I love it but if i could change one thing, it would be the angle. It needs to be angled or tilted down more so the thumbs can make full contact like align tactical's thumb rest. So far i like black steel's more. It still feels good and doesnt make contact with the slide
We love lefties! Yes, we do have Grip Controls for our lefties. Check out our website and choose the model you're interested in. We are constantly designing and testing for more models so if we do not have a model you're interested in yet, just shoot (pun intended) us a message and we'll get working on it!
We are working on designing and launching Grip Controls for all models that our customers have requested. We will ensure the Bull Hatchet is among these!
The different sizes represent the position of where your supporting thumb sits on your firearm. Use the trigger as a reference of where your supporting thumb would sit comfortably. Size #3 is the size that’s furthest out and the #2 is the middle size and the #1 is the size closest to the trigger. There is a roughly 3/8 of an inch difference between the sizes. To make it easier, if it helps, our most popular size for the Glock Gen 1-4 Grip Control is the size #2.
We have one for a Zev GEN4, I realize that there may be a number of variations, but the 3 Zev samples we have in our lab fit great. At any rate, let's see what we can do to resolve your issue.
Hmmmm . . . . We don't have the Oz on our to-do list at the moment, we are quite stacked up. The list is very dynamic though. So many guns, so little time.
@@BlackSteelUSA okay, no worries! I prefer black anyways, I was just worried about getting a weird color because of not knowing what color they come in. I’m most likely gonna order one this weekend for the PDP 🫡

Looks amazing! But if the price was $70 you wouldn’t be able to keep it in stock, $110 is way too high.
It's really well made and after I put mine on PDP I no longer felt $110 was to much, money well spent in my opinion
@@WettDoggTV Do you feel less muzzle rise with it?
Almost ordered a couple till seeing the price

@@bladeboysfv5646 Do you mind sharing how much did you pay with the 4th of July sale?
@@BlackSteelUSA If the price was much more reasonable I would probably buy 5 of them for all of my firearms…
good product, thank you.
Thank you so much! That means the world to us!
How strong is the product? Easy to break near the joint? Any warranty to back up your products?

Saw this at the Shot Show and was astounded by it. Going to place an order soon!!!
We love hearing that! Thank you!

Having large hands and putting this in a glock 43x would you recommend #3 ?
Please make one for the bull hatchet😢
We are working on designing and launching Grip Controls for all models that our customers have requested. We will ensure the Bull Hatchet is among these!
How sturdy is it? How much pressure can it take and is it drop safe, etc.
Hi! Yes! And we stand by the strength of our Grip Control. Our Grip Control can handle 180lbs of pressure from your supporting thumb.
Need assistance on choosing which position Ti choose for a Glock 27 Gen 3

They have military, veteran, and LEO discounts. It's 15 percent off.
Make one for the zevs PLEASE or send me the cad file I’ll 3D print one 😂 I brought your Glock one and it didn’t fit

@@BlackSteelUSA I would love to get one to test please let me know how to get In contact with you
You must have a newer Zev with their own poly frame, yes?? If that is the case, we don't have a Grip Control for it. Our test Zev is an older one.
@@BlackSteelUSA I have the Oz9 standard chassis
Hmmmm . . . . We don't have the Oz on our to-do list at the moment, we are quite stacked up. The list is very dynamic though. So many guns, so little time.
Does it work the staccato cs?
YES! We should have this launched soon! We are super excited to have a Grip Control for the Staccato CS. Check back in a week and we'll hook you up.
Is there one for Canik TP9 Elite SC?
Almost! We are in the middle of designing and testing the Grip Control the Canik TP0 Elite SC.
does this come in black?
Yeah it only comes in black I believe. now just have to wait for the platypus version
Hi! Yes, our Grip Controls come in black. We are working on coming out with customs colors, so we are looking forward to launching that in the future.
