- This is the first Fall Trader Joe's Taste Test of the year and we are loving it! This week Trader Joe's put out SO MANY pumpkin items and in this video we try all the NEW ITEMS, along with a couple seasonal products like pumpkin beer, maple popcorn and pumpkin tortilla chips. Some of the NEW items that we tried were the Sweet Cinnamon Filled Korean Pancakes, Butternut Squash Mac 'n' Cheese Bites, Sweet & Savory Pumpkin Spread, Pumpkin Spice Hummus, Pumpkin 4 Cheese Greek Style Yogurt Dip and MORE!

TJ is a good distance for me but I was able to go by today for the madeleines- bought 4 packages!! I also picked up the maple kettle corn and Oh my GOODNESS! It is so dang DELICIOUS!!! I am in love with this. Must make another trip for more before it’s gone! Tim is crazy - this is amazing! 😂

I tried the pumpkin spread and didn’t think it tasted like honey at all. I tried it on the pumpkin tortilla chips. I think next time on brioche toast!
The jam is made in Portugal and that is how we make all our jams, minimum ingredients, maximum flavor. Can’t wait to try!

Bell's is in my hometown! I "grew up" on Bell's beer. Oberon is their famous beer and the whole city of Kalamazoo, MI has a huge party to celebrate Oberon day on 3/22. They're such a fantastic company and obviously their beers are delicious! Fall is the best time of the year at TJ's!!!!

The Korean cinnamon pancake I’m so excited for!!! The Korean store I shop at doesn’t have a cinnamon one.
In case this is hard to find (my TJ's was sold out yesterday) there is a similar item at H-Mart under the brand Daifuku.

I really prefer the familiarity of your family in videos, but if you are going to do one with a friend, pumpkin tasting would probably be good.

You should try your pumpkin beer New England style in a glass with a cinnamon sugar rim. Mix cinnamon and sugar on a plate, dip the rim of your glass in a liquid(my fav is honey but you could also use juice, water or caramel topping) then dip in the cinnamon sugar. It sounds a little weird and I was very skeptical to try it when I first moved back there but it’s delicious!
I love the hummus it tastes just like pumpkin pie filling to me. I put it on little ginger snaps with some whipped cream and it was like pumpkin pie bites.
I liked it too! I also like the chocolate hummus 🙂

I mixed the pumpkin spread with plain cream cheese, because my store didn't have the pumpkin cream cheese either. WOW, that mix was super delicious on bagels, croissants and especially brioche bread. I mixed the pineapple spread the same way earlier this summer. You make me try so many things I would normally just walk past. Can't wait for my store to get those Korean Pancakes. Love you Katie

Hi Katie! I hope we get a TJ on Oahu soon! Since you said that you’re coming to Hawaii soon, please check on the current restrictions. Our numbers have been thru the roof and the Governor has been asking people to hold off on visiting our state. We also recently came up with a mandatory proof of vaccine or recent negative test in order to eat indoors at restaurants. Wait times have been long at most restaurants due to lack of workers. I just wanted to share to help prepare you for your trip. If you’re set on coming, just be careful and I’m sure you’ll still really enjoy your time here. 🍍🌴

Went to Trader Joe’s today with everyone else in the world. Unfortunately, I went to the one that does not have liquor, but I picked up a few things like the pumpkin ice cream and the vanilla paste. Now, can you tell me what to use the vanilla paste in? Also, how are the pumpkin rolls you picked up? I could not find them today.

Katie and Tim, love the haul and taste test videos. We went to Trader Joe's this morning and were able to get a few of the items on the list. We shared an apple cider donut in the car on the way home! My favorite. Then when we got home, I made the Loaded Potatoes that you sampled a few weeks ago and added fried eggs on top. Delicious. We had a small wedge of the Pumpkin Caramel Kringle on the side. It was so flavorful but a little too sweet for me. For our beverage, we shared a Colombe Pumpkin latte - my husband loved it but I was not a fan. Too much nutmeg. The pumpkin vanilla candle smells heavenly and not too strong. We got several other things that we will try throughout the week. Thanks for all you do to keep us informed.

The turkey chili, canned is back.. I just opened the caramel sea salt baking chips. I think this would be great added to an oatmeal cookie batter with some dried apple
went to my first pumpkinpaloza today, lined up at the store by 7:45 with pumpkin cold brew in hand lol. got pretty much everything i went for except the pumpkin overnight oat, pretzel slims, and pumpkin butter

I might be commenting too late to get a reply, but do you know anything about the new packaging on TJs frozen foods? They used to mostly come in black plastic containers, but now they’re white and paper-based. Is it an effort to reduce plastic? I can’t find any info online.
Yes, TJ’s has committed to reducing plastics by a large percentage in the next few years .

I'm so glad I bought those cinnamon pancakes today. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm looking forward to it now! Also, I was able to grab the Apple cider fruit spread you showed in yesterday's haul. That I did try a few minutes ago and I like it!!
